Even though the movie is a comedy, I love how the film is loosely based on: " The Bombardment of Ellwood " : en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bombardment_of_Ellwood& " The Battle Of Los Angeles" : en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Los_AngelesWhich both took place from 1900 (7:00 pm) on 23 February 1942 through 0721 (7:21 am) on February 25, 1942. Considering that the Pearl Harbor Attack happened on December 07, 1941... the movie should have really been called "1942". |
