Enjoyed Lady Bird. My type of slice-of-life movie. Good acting, especially by Laurie Metcalf as her mom.

STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDII saw it on Friday and I really liked it. It brought something New and Different to the Franchise and I thought it was a Great, Fun, and long, Long, LONG " STAR WARS" Movie.

Kingdom of Heaven (2005)
Ridley Scott's take on the Crusaders' attempts to take over The Holy Land.
The critics were unimpressed by Orlando Bloom as a sword and sandals hero-type and this unfortunately, unfairly detracted from what might have been a masterpiece with a different leading man. Other roles were expertly cast with Liam Neeson, Michael Sheen, Martin Csokas, Brendan Gleeson, Jeremy Irons, Edward Norton and others, especially Eva Green as the only woman in this "Man's World" A much under-rated movie.

I got curious but it's not on Netflix. Its a really crazy take on WW2. Only a matter of time before its on Netflix No Escape(15) Who'd a thought a serious action movie with Brosnan and Wilson would work and its a cracker Sorcerer(77) I've waited decades to see this one and wasn't disappointed, amazing! Best known for coming out the same weekend as Star Wars

Friedkin's "Sorcerer" was on TV last night and I watched it for the first time. Decent movie with several exciting, well-edited sequences. Not as good as Clouzot's "The Wages of Fear" though (of which it's essentially a remake.)
