Many to choose from Suvarov, Kutuzov, Barclay de Tolly, Bagration. Paskevich, Brusilov, Zhukov, Konev.

Zhukov's pretty badass.

I would personally go with Alexander Suvorov the last Generalissimo of the Russian Empire.

Suvorov never lost a battle and is widely considered to be one of the best of all time.

Suvorov never lost a battle and is widely considered to be one of the best of all time. One of the biggest "what if's" in military history, if Suvorov and Napoleon had met in battle. The only knock on Suvorov (by some) is that the majority of his victories were against the "B Team", Poles and Turks.

I don't know where I read this but I think Napoleon is the commander with the most victories. He wasn't invincible but maybe other commanders weren't as tested as him.

I read that Napoleon fought 60 battles and lost seven. Acre, Aspern, Leipzig, Waterloo and three when the 6th Coalition invaded France. Suvurov fought 63 battles and was undefeated.
part of Suvurov's legacy is that he doesn't really have a "signature" victory. Like Napoleon had Austerlitz and Wagram, like Frederick and Leuthen, like Wellington and Waterloo.

I like Alexander Nevsky. His portrayal of the Battle on Frozen Lake Peipus with Russian peasants against the Teutonic Knights is a cinematic classic.
