This movie sucked, but the ending was sadder than I can describe... November. Charlize Theron is dying from cancer. Keanu Reeves, a lover she takes during her last month of November, is asked to leave before she dies. Keanu, who as fallen deeply in love with her, simply has to accept it and move on. So we know she's going to pass on and that he wont be allowed to be there for her. The movie is not that great overall, but that ending is choking me up thinking about it now!
Elegy. Another not amazing movie. Ben Kingsley, a photographer, and Penelope Cruz fall in love, and even though she accepts him fully, he has issues with the fact that he is older than she is and they end up breaking up over it. Some time later, she comes back to him to have him take photos of her, as an elegy, since she is now dying of cancer. The end is heartbreaking. That he missed his opportunity to be with her and that she still thinks highly enough of him to have him do this for her.
Women dying by cancer is a thing!
Schindlers List (this one's cancerless, lol) When Liam Neeson bends over crying that he could have saved one more if he'd given up his rings or his car... if you have a soul you must feel something. Its a devastating moment in a devastating movie.
