Rachel McAdams became a star with the release of 'Mean Girls' (2004). Here she is attending the premiere of 'Red Eye' (2005)! Which of her movies are your favourites? Thanks!

Mean Girls Wedding Crashers Midnight in Paris (I kind of don't want to vote for it since her character is so unlikeable, but it also shows that she can play unlikable quite well) honorable mentions: Morning Glory ( moviemouth it is a really cute flick) Red Eye (pretty decent until the final act) Sherlock Holmes (I like the film, and while she does a good job she never feels cast properly, same goes of Rapace in the sequel)

I remember watching it in theaters and it was really solid, Cillian and McAdams had a nice little chemistry, but the whole hotel assassination by missile and the odd ending when we get to her father's house......yeah.......doesn't work within the film. but again everything before it....pretty solid.

Red Eye Sherlock Holmes Passion
I quite liked her in Doctor Strange (I wish she'd been in more of that), About Time and The Vow as well. She was also perfect as Regina George in Mean Girls and I actually didn't mind Season 2 of True Detective (and that was thanks in large part to Rachel McAdams as Ani Bezzerides).
I’ve also seen her in Morning Glory, Wedding Crashers, Midnight in Paris and The Time Traveler’s Wife, but don’t really remember much of those movies. I have yet to see quite a few of the other movies listed here that she’s been in. I really like her as an actress.
Red Eye is on TV tonight where I am. I’ve watched it previously numerous times when it’s been on and shall do so once again. Rachel McAdams and Cillian Murphy really made that movie enjoyable, I thought.

The Notebook
The Red Eye
WEdding Crashers
The Time Traveler´s Wife
I love the Midnight in Paris film, but I did not like her character or her performance that much. I thought that she was great in Doctor Strange, but unfortunately I thought that her part there was too small. The same goes for Sherlock Holmes.

I thought that she was great in Doctor Strange, but unfortunately I thought that her part there was too small. The same goes for Sherlock Holmes. I've noticed this fact with many of her roles, which is why I think many people's choices are the ones in which her role was larger (e.g., Wedding Crashers, Red Eye, even Midnight in Paris). Miss McAdams is, in my opinion, of the best actresses working today; she has genuine talent. But she's in so few movies and, in those few, in such small parts! Maybe she should change her agent or something. It's just not working for her.

That´s why I love The Notebook, Red Eye and wedding Crashers because in those I like both her character, the story and the amount of screen time she gets in those films. She is terrific actress! I wonder if she will reprise her role in the upcoming Dr. Strange films?
