no being a ghost would be the coolest thing ever, get to spy on people, you can haunt people, you can be really cool and the envy of every Gothic piece of trash.

Yes. I had a dream where I was talking to people but no one was responding. Then I realised I must be dead and was a ghost. It was a horrible feeling.

Please note that I usually don't get this dark in my responses.
I guess it would all depend on the circumstances of my passing.
If it's not my choice (homicide), I hope I do. I would haunt my murderer until they had no choice but to confess to killing me. When they did that, thenn (then and ONLY then) would I leave them alone AND be at peace.

I see ghosts as being trapped in a confused and lost state of limbo. They are still attached to their human form, or haven’t realised they have passed on. They are still in a lot of emotional pain. I am not so sure it would be too much fun.

The biggest drawback to being a ghost (whether sad or happy) is that it requires dying first. So I guess that if I hadn't adequately prepared for death--i.e., hadn't settled my affairs--I'd be a sad ghost. Or at least a frustrated one.

No, I would enjoy being a ghost and terrorising all those people who were mean to me while I was alive.

I would say it depends on if I could still see and talk to my Wifey and the other people in my life when they die too. Personally I think there is a chance some people become ghosts and hang around after they die. There have been WAY too many ghost sightings over the years to just to say ghosts are not real and I have known people who have seen things that appear to be ghosts. Perhaps there is no heaven or hell and the afterlife is staying here on earth without your body and people who are alive can no longer see you.
