We have got a sample of 1 game. I think they will do better now than they were doing before because Capela was over-hyped and Covington is an actually good defensive player. But is it going to give the Rockets a chance to win it all? I don't think so. One of the games they don't shoot well they will probably have very little chance. Although Brodie and Harden can attack the rim well, the team is still totally dependent on hitting 3s and in playoff series you get better defence from your opposition and your 3s die.
I do believe Rockets will likely finish in top 4 in western conference but they won't make it past 2nd round.

i'm intrigued after they beat the Lakers In the last 1 month Rockets have been performing badly mainly because of James Harden. Westbrook was shooting abysmally from behind the arc in the first 30 games of the season but he has since mended his game and cut back on his 3s. Now he is a much better player and scoring quite efficiently. If James Harden can change his game like Brodie has then Houston can improve but I still don't see them as a legit contender. But Covington surely is going to make them defensively a better side. He was excellent against the Lakers.

I do believe Rockets will likely finish in top 4 in western conference but they won't make it past 2nd round. In 100% agreement with this. Do they have anyone who can be an interior defender? Who do they have who can stop LeBron/AD or Jokic inside over a 7 game series? Sure they beat the Lakers last night, but can they do that 4 times out of 7, once teams have time to devise a plan to exploit their lack of size? Clips have great premetier D. I just don't feel it.
