Ah jeez another one? Egon's gonna be pissed. And I can't blame him.

This is one of the franchises I’d be 100% okay if they had just stopped making more altogether. I don’t see how they can do it any better now. Never heard of these directors either, though maybe they’re pretty talented.

I don’t see how they can do it any better now. This is the part, I'll never understand... Does anyone ever reboot...BAD MOVIES? Well almost no one... So... "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre"... A highly popular horror film... That was good enough to spawn several sequels... AND a reboot or two... But, how often are reboots considered good? Well, I guess that is debatable, but many people say, that they are nowhere near as good as the original... So why bother? Why not just stop rebooting great films, and just watch the fantastic original instead. How about rebooting bad films? Yes, they were bad for a reason, but many of them had something good about them, in order for them to be made in the first place... So, Why not take those good parts are remake/reboot those films... There is a very good chance that it can be "better", than the original bad film... And who knows, the new film might actually be a hit. One other thing... How many "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" films must there be, and which one of the many, should I consider to be the best? I'm getting tired of keeping track of all these different versions of the same film.

Yeah it is funny how mentally retarded Hollywood is getting.
It's like a school that keeps cutting teaching standards. So the faculty is dumber and dumber and the students learn less. They hire a teacher speaking gibberish for an English grammar class.
That's the way Hollywood is now.

I’m pretty sure that the original should be considered the best.

Jesus, the filters in that movie. They're totally over the top, but the movie is too, so I think it fits. Plus, it's only in those nightmare sequences in Freddy's domain, so it's supposed to be surreal.

Good or bad. They keep coming. I guess it’s all about the brand name these days.

Hey Bong Joon Ho name checked The Texas Chainsaw Massacre in his best director speech... maybe they could have held out and convinced the new Oscar winner to do it.
...probably not...
