So frickin fun!!! Pert-near nonstop action and you'd think fight sequence after fight sequence would get boring, but they opened up the book on originality here and none of them felt the same. It was great. The fighting in the horse stable made me laugh out loud...but the horses were a little too cgi looking. Halle Berry fighting with multiple german shepherds wearing bulletproof vests was fantastic! In the same sequence Wick and two other all running out of bullets at the same time and frantically trying to reload was hilarious. I honestly feel you dont even need to see the other john wick movies to find this one enjoyable...but i still recommend them all.

It's just as good as Chapter 2 which remains my favorite of the three. Looking forward to the next one.

I only like the 1st one. 2 and 3 are average. Especially the 3rd one had too much plot armor.

1 > 2 > 3
John is at his best as predator hunter, not hunted prey. While 3 did have exceptional martial arts sequences, I felt they lost traction from their macro underworld storytelling. 2 was more nuanced with finer tension than 3.
The first has become my #43 all time.

It's a 5/10 movie.
So much repetitious punch-punch bang-bang that yes, it actually gets boring.

I actually thought the first half was a lot of fun with very inventive action sequences, but after the detour to Morocco the movie became repetitive. The fight scene with the dogs was really nothing special and the final shoot-out featured a lot of faceless goons and felt like a video game. Oh, and in my opinion Dacascos was underused as a villain. He was great in Crying Freeman, I wish he would've had a better career.

Yea the Morocco part, especially given that it didn’t change anything, felt kinda pointless. I did enjoy Halle Berry’s character tho and I didn’t think I would. The world is also getting quirkier and quirkier as the movies go on. Less realism and more over the top cartoonish personalities...but I’m ok with it. |

The series gets overall worse as it moves forward if you ask me...
1st movie = 6.5-7/10 (within my Top 154 movies)
2nd movie = 6/10 (a mild Thumbs Up)
3rd movie = 6/10
