I voted... No. ill be 38 years old later this year but i have not really actively watched cartoons since i was pretty much 13-ish and younger (as i figure by the time i was 15+ i doubt i thought much of cartoon's at that point). i have seen a little once in a while since, but not much. I guess technically there is very little animated stuff i like (i.e. just... Death Note (2006-2007) ; www.imdb.com/title/tt0877057/ ) but your typical Toy Story types of animated movies (and the like (i have seen Toy Story 1 and 3)), while there are not total crap or anything like that, they are largely kids movies and are ultimately forgettable. basically animated movies etc just don't hold my interest like movies with actual people in them do and most importantly they have no re-watch value for me which is where movies are ultimately made or broke on whether they are something ill re-watch from time-to-time or not as the years pass. hell, even movies in general that are CGI heavy tend to be nothing special for me but i do like some here and there. although something like Looney Tunes might be okay for nostalgia sake if i noticed on TV once in a great while as given my gut feeling at the moment those are probably something i would like the most from the past. with that said... it's not like i would think bad of anyone in their 20's and older watching cartoon's here and there but i just never understood those who still praise those kinds of things as they can't hold a candle to movies with actual people in them. so basically... none of those animated movies are anything special. Well if i had to pick between only watching live action or only watch animation. I would pick live action. On the flip side most Pixar movies are better than 75% of live action movies nowadays.

I still LOVE cartoons. I went on a Spongebob binge when I was 27. I am 33 now and I still watch adult cartoons on a almost daily basis. Honestly, Movieman, SpongeBob, for all the program's annoying qualities, is one of the cleverest television shows still on right now. There is a tremendous amount of borrowing from the great old comedians, with Laurel and Hardy being the largest inspiration: SpongeBob and Patrick as L&H, with roles reversed a bit (though sometimes Patrick does fall into the Ollie role [see maze-finding scene starting at 22:50]), and Squidward as Charlie Hall; Mr. Krabs as Jimmy Finlayson (with a huge dollop of Joe Flaherty's Guy Caballero thrown in for good measure); Mrs. Puff, Sandy, and especially Karen take over some of the wives' roles. In particular, the plot and many of the jokes in the episode " Rock-a-Bye Bivalve," one of SpongeBob's crowning achievements (with "The Camping Episode" and "Band Geeks," one of modern comic television's finest half-hours) is culled wholesale from L&H's " Their First Mistake." ("The Camping Episode" also holds many similarities with "Them Thar Hills.") Now, could that be considered plagiarism rather than homage? Possibly, but in an era where no one remembers such comic masters as the Boys, it's difficult to complain. If kids are growing used to this kind of humor when young (rather than the gross-out gags and unfunny jokes that characterize many a modern SB episode), that's a good thing. [As usual, I'm interested in if anyone agrees, disagrees, etc., with my analysis here.]I have no doubt what you say is true. The Simpsons is one of my favorite things in the world (the first 8 seasons I mean) and that borrowed heavily from a bunch of older movies and TV comedies. While I like Spongebob becasue it is very funny and creative, it also has a innocence to it that is hard to resist. It is something I will watch if I am in a bad mood or depressed. Spongebob himself is just so adorable to me. What I think is funny about Family Guy is that it admits in many episodes that it steals from a bunch of things. I have a very low-ball and distasteful sense of humor which is why I think Family Guy is hilarious. American Dad is the smarter less crude version and I love that show too.

Loud House is pretty good. Teen Titans has lots of references that only adults would get. We Bare Bears is funny. SpongeBob is funnier than ppl think. I didn't get it for years why it's so popular but now having kids being forced to watch it I get it now.
Old Tom and Jerry and Looney Toons never get old. This cartoons were never made for kids anyways. Funny thing is .." adult cartoons " like Family Guy etc ..aren't nearly as good as the ones supposedly made for kids. I wrote some comments on it above. I wonder if you'd agree. Yes. It definitely has a classic formula to it. It makes children smarter. always a good thing. Especially with the direction most shows and humor in general is going. Cheap laughs and such.

Well there are always things we have no interest in. I have no interest in japanese anime like Death Note or any other of those types of anime.

I'm in my mid 30s and still enjoy a few cartoons. The new ones don't do much for me (Rick and Morty for example), but there are some I like. "Family Guy" and "American Dad" have their moments...I'm probably in the minority, but I find "American Dad" to be much funnier and more interesting. "Futurama" was another one that really surprised me...there were a couple of duds, but some of the episodes I remember being very entertaining.
My wife looked at me cross-eyed when she moved in with me when I had to reveal my dark secret to her. I still laugh just as hard at "Ren and Stimpy" as I ever have, and she and I simply couldn't work if she didn't know who Powdered Toast Man was.
I love cinematic music too, and you can't beat some of the old school "Looney Tunes" for that.

Are you an adult? That is debatable, age says yes the rest say maybe
and do you still watch cartoons? Stuff like Archer/Simpsons and Family Guy I do watch 90's Cartoon Network shows when I'm High/Drunk.

My complete agreement with this point. I cannot understand their crudity, rudeness, or vulgarity. SpongeBob even at its most annoying seems far preferable to that.

I think they are equally funny but American Dad is definitely smarter and I agree it's more interesting. Of the two I prefer American Dad.
