Fair bit on this evening in the EFL... Also a game on in both Scotland and Wales.
The highlight for everyone will of course be:
Forest Green Rovers - Port Vale
Will FGR's form continue to slide (1 win in 8 so far in 2020), along with their position in League 2 (currently 3 points off the play offs, could be 6 points tonight if it goes bad for us).
We'll see. No need to panic, like a lot of Forest Green fans seem to be. Our League 2 status is secure enough. Can't expect to make the play offs every season can you?

George Williams on Port Vale this evening, and on his return after breaking his leg during the opening game of the season...

Unusually, there is no pre-match interview with Coops on the club's website.
There's a lot of FGR fans calling for him to be sacked. He has been getting booed and abused at games, and giving it back to the boo boys. It's all a bit mental. When did we become that kind of club? Is this what league football does to you?
I hope Dale sticks with him. I'm one of the dwindling number still loyal to our gaffer.

6 games in the Championship tonight.
I've got a good 40/1 on a goal in each half of all 6 games 🧐
And I've backed all 6 West Country League 2 teams to win in two patents...
FGR Swindon Cheltenham
Exeter Plymouth Newport
(Yes yes, Newport is in Wales, not the West Country, but it's closer to me than all those teams except FGR... Newport is local innit! Brothers across the Bristol Channel)

Right so...
It's Tuesday.
I'm off to Evening Mass the now, then I've a meeting with Fr C.
I'll be lucky to be home with my chippy supper before half time.
I want a goal in the first half of the Championship fixtures 👍

Just got out from meeting with Fr C. Forest Green having another mare ☹️ This could actually be one home defeat too many. Coops might get sacked.

Horrible run of results, you must be about bottom on current form, what do you put it down to? Dressing room gone sour? Gotta be something specific such a turnaround.

Gotta be something specific such a turnaround. Club is tearing itself apart with infighting. I think even I have to accept that Coops needs to go now 🤷♀️ Not because I want him to go, it's like the Arse with Wenger, it's just too divisive now. Fans, players, management, all at each others throats.

Aberdeen hadn’t scored in the league this year but are 3-0 up on Hamilton in Lanarkshire just now.
Attendance is 1,218 including 430 from Aberdeen. Ye Gods!

The record low SPL crowd was 431, Gretna v Inverness in 2008.

Being a vegan, what do you get in yer chippy supper? Vegetable burger or Thai spiced vegetable pastie and chips, curry sauce, and Greek salad in pitta. Do you mind if the burger, chips are cooked in the oil with fish or on the hotplate with meat? I got one of those Rebel Whoppers at Malaga airport last year on the way home form Grenada. Wasn't too bad and I was starving (kinda tasted like those lovely Linda McCartney mozzarella burgers), but after eating it I noticed on the poster that it says it is 100% vegan but cooked on the same plate as the meat burgers. Kinda defeats the purpose. Still tough to get decent veggie/vegan stuff on the run.

Dunno about airports, but motorway services are a lot better for vegan choices now on the whole.

They were worried we were going to make a comeback. I dunno what to think about Coops anymore. Think I'm still in the want him to stay camp... See the season out at least, see if he can settle the team, and turn it around. If there's no uptick by season's end, may be time to replace him then. It's just all gone Arsenal/Wenger 'toxic' right now. As Zos said, we are on an appalling run, dropped down from topping the league and being the clean sheet kings... Something has gone wrong somewhere for us to go from best in the league to sinking like a stone. Away to Oldham Athletic on Saturday... Really need a win to get some belief back in the players, and get the fans back behind the team. Get Lewis Thomas back in goal, the new guy from Mansfield Town is shipping goals left right and centre.
