I miss the old forum too! Don't post as much anymore, but this is the place where some of the old CFB family posts so I'll check in from time to time. It's good to see familiar names such as yourself and others! Thanks for checking in, Mike. I miss the old CFB, too, was just reading through some threads at a film board site that has some loose connections to the Old IMDB, and just seeing those names.--RogerTheMovieManiac, OldAle, OldAussie, EliotTempleton (with whom I had issues, but WTF), Byrdz--so many, and yes, Kambei/JosephGillis,--so many European and international people. Just going to one of those post-apocalyptic classic sites (of which this is one) is a simultaneously joyous and melancholy voyage. We know it can never be the same. If nothing else, the times have changed. Yet those of us who are still alive and kicking, if not so high kickin' as in the old days. The women, the kind and gentle ones, I miss also, as more seem to be retired from film sites.
Anyway, it's always good seeing you in action, and quite frankly (and seriously) alive and well, in these parlous times. Oh yes, so many, many, memories with such dear members! I still quite often remember those glory days, the good ones and the not so good ones! Everyone from Addison to Clore to MrsE to Anjune, boy what memories!!
And try as we might, it will never be the same, although it is good to see some familiar names on this site, continuing the tradition.
It's good seeing you in action too! Continue to stay safe, stay strong, and we'll get through these crazy times together!!

The heart didn't want to play along anymore and went on strike. The operation went well, but I'm under observation for awhile. Maybe I'll be back next week. It was a heart attack, but not the big one. HAVE FUN! . Thank God, and take care, be patient with healing. That's a big part of what it takes. Just to let you know, I was supposed to have begun work again slowly by the end of March, just doing some easy office work, but then came the pandemic. It was all postponed, and I still do a few thing over the net from home, . That you and you're old friends likes to reminisce about old posters on a post I started, I don't mind, you have my blessing, whatever you believe in!
