First Viewings...nothing this week.
Re-watches...-Get Carter (1971) (Feb 10th 2020) - 5/10 (my 3rd viewing and it did not hold up)
-Enter the Dragon (1973) (Feb 11th 2020) - 6/10 (I have not seen this since Apr 2014 which is when it dropped back to it's current score)
-The Big Boss (1971) (Feb 12th 2020) - 6/10
-Fist of Fury (1972) (Feb 13th 2020) - 6/10
-The Way of the Dragon (1972) (Feb 15th-16th 2020(mostly 16th)) - 6/10
but if I had to roughly rank the four Bruce Lee movies there I would probably go...
1)Enter the Dragon (1973) (this one I am sure is the most mainstream of the Bruce Lee movies though as I would imagine most people affiliate him with this movie)
-)Fist of Fury (1972)
3)The Big Boss (1971)
-)The Way of the Dragon (1972)
I would probably say that in some ways The Big Boss is better than The Way of the Dragon, in terms of overall feel of it (as some of the score etc is just off on The Way of the Dragon), but in some ways The Way of the Dragon has it beat as I feel the general fight scenes are overall better and it's got Chuck Norris in it. but as a whole it's close for me either way between those two (along with Enter the Dragon/Fist of Fury) and I might take one slightly over the other depending on how I look at it as I feel the overall tone etc is more consistent in The Big Boss where as The Way of the Dragon is mostly carried by the fight scenes.
another thing... being they can be a bit over the top, with sound effects etc, which some might not care for, I think it sort of adds to their flair a bit.
NOTE I have not seen The Big Boss/Fist of Fury/The Way of the Dragon since sometime prior to Dec 27th 2011. time flies.
p.s. in general for me... 5/10 or less = Thumbs Down. 6/10 or higher = Thumbs Up.
-----------------------------------------------------------
OP's...
-Do the Right Thing (1989) - 2/10 (I liked this at one point in the past, which I think was my initial viewing, but I could not finish it due to boredom on Apr 2015 and dumped it @ 30min)
-Joker (2019) - 5/10 (decent enough for a viewing but ultimately it's overrated)
-The Wicker Man (1973) - 4/10
Damn, I don't think a movie has ever went up THAT much in score for me. but it's probably because anything I score below a 5/10 (which a 5/10 is already Thumbs Down/won't re-watch with fairly rare exceptions) is quite unlikely for me to give it another chance. but as a general rule for me... a movie has to score a minimum of a 6/10 otherwise I won't re-watch it(with fairly rare exceptions to this rule and even than it's almost always only movies I score a 5/10 that once in a great while ill give another chance).
but about the only movie off the top of my head that currently scores quite low that I might give another chance... A Fistful of Dollars (1964). because that movie represents THE largest drop in score for me to date as it went from a 9/10 to a 2/10 in Oct 2014 (drop off's of THAT much of a score are next to non-existent for me). so I figure even if this movie did improve for me, I don't see it shooting up all that much as I would be surprised if it went any higher than a 6/10 MAX. but I suspect if I do give it another chance ill probably do it before this decade is finished.
