I agree its a decent show but I struggle to get over her doing Cuscak and it not hitting home Even though its a decent impression. Something like opposite of Owen Wilson or Larry David doing Woody Allen. There it stuck. Here it doesnt. And its not the gender thing. I think that had I not seen the movie I would have really enjoyed the show. But this way it just feels like a discount copy, if you know what I mean. I cant decide if I want her to be More Cuscak or More herself... |

If they tried to redo either of those stories the actor or actress shouldn't try to be Cusack too much. I'm still interested in seeing this regardless. |

Loved the book, enjoyed the movie, but relocating it to the US seemed like a bad decision. The book was a great tragicomedy, I thought the tragic element was sort of lost in translation in the film version.
I'm not sure whether I should watch this new tv version.

I’m disappointed. I actually really liked the show. It was well made. Not sure why Hulu is bailing after just 1 season.
