I think they will. I'd say something like a 6-10 type of record and be at the bottom of the division. If I were to guess right now I'd say the standings would go as follows: Seahawks Cardinals 49ers Rams I think the 49ers have a big drop off after the choke job in the Super Bowl. We're also in a trend where the following year after losing the super bowl that team misses the playoffs. It's been at least the last two seasons with the Rams and Falcons but I'm too lazy to look up how often or far back it goes. The Rams just have too much money spent on a limited player group with no real area to upgrade in talent via no first round picks. Cardinals I think are going to be good and the Seahawks take the division crown simply by having Russell Wilson imo. It's close to 50/50 on making the playoffs the last 20 years, but I think it was only 3 times that the team made it back to the conference championship.

It's close to 50/50 on making the playoffs the last 20 years, but I think it was only 3 times that the team made it back to the conference championship. I found a previous post of mine on this subject: "2014 Broncos -lost first game 2011 Steelers- lost first game 2015 Seahawks- lost in the divisional 2017 Falcons - lost in the divisional 2010 Colts - lost first game 1998 packers - lost first game 1997 Patritots - lost divisional 1996 Steelers - lost divisional 1995 Chargers - lost first game 12 out of the last 25 (13 if the Rams make it) teams to lose the superbowl have made the playoffs the following year. That's about 50%. Of those 12, only 3 have made it back even to the championship game. The 2012 Patriots, the 2013 49ers, and the 2018 Patriots. 3 out of 25. And Tom Brady was the quarterback for 2 of them. Those intangibles, that leadership.. the proof is in the pudding. But the good news (and bad news) is that he simply can't do it forever. And when he leaves the Patriots, one way or the other, we will see if they continue going to AFC championship games. Which Brady has done in 13 of his 17 healthy, starting seasons."

A true fan sticks with their team through thick and thin. I ought to know. For most of my 61 years, the Saints were the laughing stock of sports.

That ram horn on their helmet is classic.

Emmanuel Sanders is going to the Saints. Great pickup for them, they need a #2 receiver behind Thomas for Brees to throw to, Sanders should fill that role.

"And the NFC South now has some of the best receiving corps in the NFL. The Bucs and new quarterback Tom Brady have Chris Godwin and Mike Evans. Julio Jones and Calvin Ridley play for the Falcons."profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2020/03/20/emmanuel-sanders-signing-with-the-saints/ Matt Ryan, Tom Brady, Teddy Bridgewater and Drew Brees? The NFC South should be a real curiosity. I hope they don't disappoint.

I'm not sure what you're asking. Yes, that's my post. favorite teams as well. Oh. I'm not as big of a sports fan as you are. The Saints, LSU Tigers and the Pelicans. Really only because I live in New Orleans, Louisiana.
