This is what it comes down to. The numbers don't lie. The Patriots beat everyone in the NFL at the same rate, so their division is irrelevant. The rest of the AFC East has more wins than the other divisions in football, so it's actually a more competitive division in that regard. Both of these statistical facts prove your bullshit statements false. I know, I know, "It really doesn't though." That's been your fallback from the beginning. hehatesshe and I keep posting numbers that back up our argument, you keep coming back with, "Nuh-uh," and zero supporting evidence.
And I'll say this for the millionth time, since you and movieliker share the same loser's mentality. The Patriots aren't just focused on the division, they're focused on the bye and the highest seed possible in the playoffs. That's the pressure they put on themselves, because they're trying to win the Super Bowl, not just the division. Every game counts in the NFL, and as I pointed out in previous posts, those late season divisional losses have cost the Patriots seeding and home field in the playoffs. Not to mention the fact that one year they actually went 14-2 and still lost at home to the Jets in the divisional round. The weak AFC East, always doing them favors.
If you took the time to actually read the post I linked to at the beginning of the conversation, you'd know this already, I go into explicit detail on this topic. But then, if you took the time to look at any information on the topic instead of making baseless assumptions, you'd know you don't have a leg to stand on, anyway. Truth be told, you do know that, and you're arguing for the sake of arguing without any supporting evidence, because there is no supporting evidence.
And again, the Jets went to back to back AFC championship games during the Patriots dynasty, and the Patriots still didn't become bottom feeders in that time. So the division did them no favors, produced a contender other than the Patriots, yet through it all the Patriots remained relevant.
Sorry your shit team can't say the same, which is why you're so bitter in the first place. The weak AFC East is what prepared them for a 25 point comeback in the Super Bowl. Sure thing, boss.

Can’t wait for it, it should be awesome!! The NFC South has always been a fun division to watch, and this year it should be especially good. It will be interesting to see how Brady handles a good division. I assume he'll handle the NFC South like he always has, by winning 75% of his games.

Nelson Agholor going to the Raiders. Interesting move, I know he’s been widely criticized by Eagles fans for his drops but he did have a strong year in 2017 when the Eagles won the Super Bowl, hopefully for the Raiders he can play like he did that year.

NFL Draft is going to be a ratings bonanza for all the sports starved fans out there.
Can't wait.
Been one of the ways I'm getting through this (no sports) - checking out the free agency tracker for the NFL

Cam Newton officially cut by the Panthers.
Where does he end up? Chargers? Broncos? Jaguars? Patriots?

Cam Newton officially cut by the Panthers. Where does he end up? Chargers? Broncos? Jaguars? Patriots? I'd like to see what he could do with the Bears even though they just got Foles - to I guess - push Turdisky - and not take his place?
Jags stated they're riding with Minshew - be the 3rd time - be comical in a way - Foles just keeps getting boned - if the Bears did grab Cam.
*** Edit - per Ian Rappaport - just read the Panthers tried sending Cam to the Bears and Chargers and they had no interest in trading for him.
Wow - not even like a 6th/7th round pick?

Pats cut Gostkowski. Looks like we're going into rebuilding mode.

It's because he can't travel (due to the coronavirus) to get a physical. Teams are in the dark regarding his health.

Cam Newton officially cut by the Panthers. Where does he end up? Chargers? Broncos? Jaguars? Patriots? I think it would be very interesting if Cam wound up with the Pats, it would be fun to watch how he would do with them. I think there is a chance he goes there. I don’t see him going to the Broncos, I think they’ve found their franchise QB of the future with Lock. The Jags seem to be rolling with Minshew for now, and the Chargers don’t seem interested for whatever reason even though they need a QB, I’m starting to think they are just going to go with Tyrod Taylor this season. What about the Dolphins? They need a QB and while I think they will take Tua or Herbert in the draft, I wonder if they could sign Cam to be their starter for now?
