I don’t see how they’d make a mistake - from what I understand they still ultimately call in their picks via phone same as any other draft - if they gave the wrong name I can’t imagine the NFL would correct it. It would be the fault of the team. I'm under the impression and i could be wrong (first time for everything) that a team has a few seconds to change if they send up the wrong card. They usually make up a few cards in advance. If they sent up the Tua card instead of the Burrow card, they could switch it. Not as easy over the phone, especially if there are glitches. If they made the wrong pick, Washington would take Burrow in three seconds, Dwayne Haskins or no Dwayne Haskins.
Maybe they could send Haskins and a basket of mini muffins to Cincy as a goodwill gesture?

If some teams offers 11 #1’s they still have to draft him. They let him get away and he’s an eternal Pro Bowler, this team will never live it down. As far as I can tell he’s the surest thing since Andrew Luck or even Peyton Manning

He had an NFL level OC who is now the Panthers OC. Plus he had massively talented weapons around him with Jefferson and possibly the best WR in CFB in Chase. According to one NFL GM or Scout(?) not sure who and honestly not sure what podcast it was that stated it but they said he doesn't have an NFL caliber arm. However my eyes tell me he's the best college QB I've ever seen. I'm no scout so I can't translate what that does in the NFL but holy fuck he was so damn good last year and seemed to rise to every occasion.

I think he’s better than any of the class of 2018, yeah yeah Lamar Jackson. Who really seen that coming. I do think he’s the best since Peyton. But, like you said, he had more talent in Baton Rouge than he will in Cincinnati. Lots of QB’s survived brutal first years. Aikman, Kelly

AJ Green (if healthy), Tyler Boyd, Joe Mixon are some pretty good weapons. My only worry is the offensive line. I think they address OL with the 33rd pick. Supposedly it's a very deep class in regards to both OL and WR.

Apparently it was the Cowboys that had the first pick in this mock according to The Ringer NFL podcast. The draft order wasn't the same as it was just a mock to see the system work. I personally think it's not that big of a deal but the GM's and Owners are going to treat it like it's the worst thing because it's not what they're used to or what they want so they'll simply complain about any small issue they can. SOMETHING will go wrong at some point though that will dominate the news cycle for a week or 2.

Talk about Gronkowski being traded to Tampa Bay before the draft.
If Patriots got back OJ Howard, that would be pretty good.

Done: Gronkowski and a seventh rounder to Bucs in exchange for a fourth rounder.
Well I never. I’ll say he plays in 6 games max.

I haven't seen KingKongBrady for a while - - I'm intrigued with what he feels about all of this. I'm waiting for John Hannah to unretire and go play for the Phins this year.

I think screamingtreefrogs needs to answer the question on all our minds: what effect will this have on Gronk’s WWE 24/7 Championship?

They’re the same person, DC Fan and KKB - one gets banned, so does the sock. They’re like Neo and Smith - they only exist for each other.

I think Gronk gives the Bucs 5-10 huge plays for 2020. I doubt he'll be prolific, but his attitude should boost morale there. Not even sure how many games he plays. 10 wins should be celebrated of they manage it.

WWE should be able to give him the weight gain that he needs before September.

What are the odds that during this scotch-taped together draft somebody busts in during it and yells Bababooey?
