So here I am, sitting at work, was getting TONS of stuff done from about 9 to 3, and then a nasty client call just sapped me of my eagerness to plow forward.
Typically, this board is my first stop for distraction, with youtube not far behind. I have so many youtube channels that I subscribe to, but recently stumbled upon this Funny or Die segment called "Zack Morris is Trash," which is hilarious.
What say you? What do you like to watch on youtube?

Imagine how this plot would play in 2020.

Lately, I've been listening to clips of Howard Stern's show from the 90's, the true glory days with Jackie and Billy West.
Don't tell anybody, though. Apparently, Stern's people have the right to take down those channels, and they do. I guess "woke" Howard doesn't want anyone to remember when he was funny.

Imagine how this plot would play in 2020. Dude, check out that channel. Half of the Saved by the Bell episodes are basically about sexual assault, fraud, lying to authorities, and basic dickishness.

I don't know what it is, I just never got into Howard Stern. Even back in the 90s, I just found the whole show irritating.

If I was a comedian, I'd be paying somebody full time to go through vids of my old performances with potentially offensive material before somebody tried to get me fired for a joke I made 30 years ago.

If you were a comedian, I'd rather pay money to see Arthur Fleck. 😉

Random, random stuff when I was a kid. Five minutes of television shows that lasted 12 episodes from the 1970s, early 1980s.
If I ever saw an episode of Bridget Loves Bernie, I certainly don't remember it. But there is something about those fonts, those intros, those actors and actresses that transport me to being in the 70s and really young.
Did a 6-year-old me every catch a glimpse of a show with this synopsis?
Greg and Paul are rock musicians who leave their home in Boise, Idaho for Hollywood. They find Frederick J. Hanover, a promoter, who has found a lot of famous rock musicians. However, Greg and Paul learn that Hanover is the devil's son and in return for a year of fame and fortune, they must sign away their souls.
Adam Arkin in Busting Loose? Zero Mostel's son as Blotto Blutarsky (Blutto's brother) and Michelle Pfeiffer in Delta House? Yes please!

If they would have kept the whole show nothing but the four main people talking and the Wack Pack, it would have been fine by me.

I keep going back to Cinemasins, Binging with Babish, and Hot Ones... and also recently discovered Zack Morris is Trash as well.
All are pretty mindless, relatively short and invariably entertaining.
Recently also a lot of dog things, and clips of comedy shows that I like. But generally tons of random things that just pop up as I scroll like movie reviews abs stuff (just professional critics though, I cant fuckint stand those jump-cutty youtube critics).
I also like some low budget short horror channels. I've followed one called Scare Scare Stiff TV for years now.
But as a 'foodie' you'd probably like Binging with Babish, if you're not familiar with it. This guy just replicates food from movies and TV shows and then makes variations on them if they're bad. Almost always entertaining.

Best new channel I have came across all about New York City and Florida. It's like watching wildlife shows or the study of human social behaviour. The WTF factor is so much higher than I have imagined. www.youtube.com/channel/UCd-Slw9m-jDChpOlb6PVXQw

Also, a channel called Sky Corp Home Video. Very brief, like 15 to 90 second, parodies of early 90s things that very convincingly look like they are legit VHS relics... and with really fucked up humor.
Why Adult Swim hasn't paid these guys a large sum for the rights to use all their stuff, I do not understand.

Especially if yeah gets things wrong, but it's all a goof. If half of the jokes and their wording are somewhat annoying, I still enjoy watching the other half, and it serves as a nice recap of the movie.
