Would it not be better that the whole thread disappeared when you delete your thread ?

Would it not be better that the whole thread disappeared when you delete your thread ? Not really. People could have an interesting conversation on your thread and get creative and then POOF!-- all their work vanishes. That's why most forums don't allow the OP to delete all the content subsequent to the creation of their thread. It pisses people off.

Would it not be better that the whole thread disappeared when you delete your thread ? No. Everyone should not have the ability to delete other peoples' posts.

Unless you've created an exceptionally embarrassing thread, I see no need for that.

Would it not be better that the whole thread disappeared when you delete your thread ? You delete your own post, not any thread. To pilfer from @marilynluvstigger et al: Welcome to the internet. You will be okay, Feologild. No one is judging you; I can't understand why you want to delete the threads from which you do delete your original posts, or even why you want to delete your posts. You have interesting ideas, nothing to be embarrassed about.

It would be better if the whole board disappeared.
Then maybe people might go outside and get some exercise.
