I had. It's quite good. With the fan casting, I think that could be a big hint about how the plot unfolds. So some will have a spoiler tag. Of course people can just read the summary of the Osage murders on Wikipedia. brb

It's a true story that definitely needs to be told on the big screen. I'm glad Scorsese is making it, and that De Caprio, whom I respect so much, is going to star, along with De Niro as Tom Hale. I have yet to read the book, which isn't fiction, though I own it and want to read it very much. I just haven't got to it yet. A decade ago I did read Linda Hogan's wonderful novel, "Mean Spirit," about the same tragic story. But that could not have been made into a film, because all of its principle characters are Osage Indians, and nobody would finance that. "Killers of the Flower Moon" has white protagonists trying to solve the crimes, resulting in the evolution of the FBI into the organization that we know today. But it's the Indian stories that are at the heart of everything. And, thankfully, they are auditioning Native Americans to play the Osage roles in Oklahoma where they're planning to shoot. This story exists in the first place because the Osage, of all the Five Civilized Tribes, were the only ones of those tribal sovereign nations in Oklahoma that wouldn't didn't sell their mineral rights to white men. So one by one white men killed them in order to get those rights. It's a long over-looked, tragic, and terribly important story that all Americans should know. Who should play Tom White?.

Haven't read the book itself yet, but have read a couple of extensive reviews of it. It's on my list, and it does seem to have made-for-cable adaptation written all over it.
Not au courant enough with a lot of contemporary actors to say who I'd cast in it.
