This could quite possibly be THE worst remake I have ever seen. And I dunno... It was on late at night and nothing else was on that got my interest. So why in the F did I keep on watching this dog crap of a movie??? I guess I had a curiosity to see how it would all turn out compared to the vastly superior original. Ever do that? Get somehow sucked into the land of Bad Movietime that takes over and controls you?
Two main things I don't get. 1) The main bad guy just happens to be waiting at the mill meth lab after sending in his henchmen to kill The Rock. Why is he there at all for yet another impossible movie coincidence? And Why TF does a trap door have any purpose for anything there?
2) They dedicated the movie to the late Sheriff Buford Pusser. How dare they even think of dedicating this garbage heap to him!

I though it was fine. Nothing great but watchable. I say that Nightmare on Elm Street 2010 is the worst remake ever.

Yeah it's pretty forgettable. Dwayne Johnson shows some promise for later in his career. It's too bad this was a bigger financial hit than The Rundown. If still not by much.

Oh yeah, I somehow got sucked into watching a few horror remakes, which I usually avoid. But I guess curiosity got the better of me. The remakes i got suckered into were The Fog, The Hitcher, Black Christmas, and The Amityville Horror. And of course they all turned out to be total diarrhea.
