Main actress supports police brutality , but internet boycotts against Disney empire have been proven ineffective so far

Not with China's movie theatres closed because of coronavirus.

Probably not but I can see it doing very well. Are the reports about its $300M budget true?

Will people boycott the film cause of the Chinese Virus ? I've been really looking forward to this, but when this is over I'm not going to want to watch anything that reminds me of Coronavirus for awhile, including apocalyptic films or films set in China. That probably isn't fair, and I blame the Chinese government, not its people, but it is what it is.

We need more European historical stories. Mulan has very limited appeal in the West. There are many European women in history to make a movie about. If China wants to make a film about Mulan, let them do it themselves. Western audiences are being held hostage by this corporate ass-kissing of China.

I've never actually watched a lot of Chinese centred films anyway apart from that wall of China film with Matt Damon so I'm good.

Mulan don't make any money. Maybe a little via stream and DVD/Blu-Ray.
