DiCaorio and his pretention. As much as he tries, he's not a Daniel Day-Lewis where he can just throw on a bunch of makeup and suddenly he's J. Edgar Hoover. And such a turd of a film isn't better just because it's a prestige Eastwood drama.
His two best performances of the last decade were both comedies, and of course he didn't even see them as comedies (re: Golden Globe acceptance speech) and probably had to be tricked into making them by Marty and QT because he's Mr. Serious Actor Man and God forbid levity in his resume.
"Oh look, I'm vegan and I ate raw liver for this scene!" "I cut my hand on a glass and continued acting anyway!" Yeah, who gives a shit. Take a page from your buddy Pitt and lighten up. Not everything needs to be a biopic or historical drama where you yell, cry, and do a questionable accent. Teddy Roosevelt? Fuck off.

I can kind of agree because he does always seem to only be in movies that are Oscar type movies or at least consideration, the guy a long time ago was in movies like quick and the dead. He does seem to take himself too seriously.

All the ones who do those Fast and Furious movies and spin offs.
Tom Hanks and serious movies and playing historical characters. Go back to comedies and be hysterical characters. Please.
Adam Sandler doing crappy comedies that are no longer funny. He should take a cue from Robin Williams and get into serious only roles because he, IMO, is better in those.

Never heard of it. Just checked the preview. I may watch it if/when it comes to cable movies.

deembastille I would definitely disagree here as every movie in that entire series stands out short of the 2nd movie. so it would make no sense to stop making those in my mind. hell, even my personal opinion aside... they do solid $ so that's even all the more reason to keep making them. or another way I could put it... when I think of blockbuster/bigger budget types of movies, those easily top the typical super hero junk and damn near everything else.
I would disagree here as these are better than most action movies. I like every movie in the series.

Aren't their talks of sequels for Waynes World, Shrek, and Austin Powers? Myers is really scrapping whatever barrell he can.
