Lol. Clearly no one has ever killed your dog dude! 6 out of 10 (just because Keanu's so very, very cool - but when it comes to action flicks THE SEARCHERS and RIDE THE HIGH COUNTRY - both of which I watched on Blu ray recently and still rate 10 out of 10 - are what rocks my little word.
Arrival (2016) 1st view 6.5/10 Slow slow-burner.
I loved this film with a passion deep and true Old Aussie, rating it 9 out of 10. Holding me in a vice grip, it intrigued me from the first frame to the last. Amy Adams is superb and should have been Oscar nominated - also check her out in Tom Ford's sizzling, stunning NOCTURNAL ANIMALS (8/10).
PS. Noticed you watched Paul Thomas Anderson's HARD EIGHT last week. Now here's a modern day classic if ever there was one. Brilliant flick, with an outstanding performance by Philip Baker Hall. 10 out of 10.
PPS. Nothing on God's green earth could make me watch the NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET films again! You should show your son Wes Craven's THE LAST HOUSE ON THE LEFT. Educate the boy.
