With del Toro's new movie 'The Shape of Water' coming out in December, what is your favorite del Toro movie so far? My vote easily goes to Pan's Labyrinth.

I haven't seen all, but Crimson Peak is my favorite del Toro movie. I thought Pan's Labyrinth was ok, and Blade II was pretty meh..

Pan's Labyrinth. Really liked his debut Cronos as well.

I love many of his films (The Devil's Backbone, the Hellboy films and Cronos are great), but I feel the film of his which best describes his particular talents and fantasy blended with horror would be Pan's Labyrinth.

Pan's Labyrinth for sure. It's a master piece. His finger prints were also all over Mama even though he didn't direct it. That is a great ghost story.

I loved Hellboy.
I actually thought I was going into a Benicio Del Toro thread, those two should work together.

Hellboy which remains one of the more underappreciated superhero movies of the 2000s imo.
