Who's excited about it? I'm not going to be glued to my TV for 3 days and I don't get all that psyched for it, but it does tell us the season is getting closer. 4+ months and counting. I hope the Giants can land a couple of studs.

I have it on for all the sessions as background noise while surfing. I pay attention when there are actual picks happening and not all the mindless claptrap from the talking heads.

Hours and hours of "experts" bleating about who will take who, just to look good when/if they make the right pick. Then bleat about how "Player X will solidify position Y for Team Z for the next 10 years" when we know damn well half of the picks will be busts. |

I hope the Giants can land a couple of studs. bigtime excited about it since it's in Philly. can't wait to see who the Birds nab. they need help all over - and i've always thought you win by starting up front first with the O-Line, then defense and skilled positions - i.e. Running Back and Wide Receiver come last - but I'm hoping they use that 14th pick to keep giving Wentz weapons since they have their QB of the future. |

I swear to God if the Eagles trade down I'm boycotting the season. Dear Howie - don't try to outsmart everyone. Just pick the best corner / secondary guy who's there at 14.

No Howie. Do not do that. The talent is too great there at other positions. The Eagles need an RB, a WR, a pass rusher, and a corner. Corners are very deep. A corner at 14 will have about the same talent as a corner in the 2nd. Get McCaffery if he is there.

I know it is the biggest position of need, but the talent there is not worth it. You can get a cornerback of the same caliber with the early 2nd round pick. |

Excitement was muted after so many years of failure but I think there's reasons to be optimistic. This was always going to be a(nother) major rebuild; just need to see some major improvements on the field of play. |

The Lions drafted Jarrad Davis, LB out of Florida. I'm okay with the pick, but I wish they'd drafted Taco Charlton instead. LB is the bigger need for the Lions, but I think they could have found similar talent at that position further down in the draft. I don't think the same is true for defensive ends in this draft.
