Of the IMDB alternatives thus far, this is the one I like the most. So to help things along, I'm reviving my most famous topics, the animated film decade topics. I'll start with the the 90s, 2000s, and 2010s, then if things are successful I'll revive the 70s and 80s as well. Rules are simple, list your favorite animated film of each year of the given decade. The film must be a full length animated feature, which means at least 75% animated and at least 40 minutes in length. If you don't like any films from a certain year, don't list one and come back to it later. I love doing these as it's a great way to spread animation love and respect. Now for me, the 90s is somewhat overrated as a decade for animated films, but theres still some good stuff here. 1990- The Fool of the World and the Flying Ship 1991- Only Yesterday 1992- Porco Rosso 1993- Batman: Mask of the Phantasm 1994- Pom Poko 1995- Whisper of the Heart (my favorite of the 90s) 1996- Beavis and Butthead Do America (worst year of decade for me) 1997- Princess Mononoke 1998- The Prince of Egypt 1999- Toy Story 2 (best overall year of 90s, was tough to pick) This is just dumb--you list all these obscure animated films, when stuff like Beauty and the Beast and Aladdin are staring you in the face. What the FACK is "Pom Poko?" Some stupid anime junk? Or Porco Rosso? You honestly think "Only Yesterday" was better than Beauty and the Beast? Come on. And sorry, but I don't have a clue as to what "Princess Mononoke" is. Sounds like some dreadful Bollywood crap. hey quick question but stfu |

It came at the end of the need to take my kid to Disney films & just...I swear it sucked life from me. I am going to die like an hour before my destined time because Finding Nemo sucked it away from me. Disney was getting pretty damned assembly line Here a laugh, now a scare, but not too bad. Heartfelt moment! So hey, don't knock anime. I am retiring in a month & planning to move, then my goal to to watch my Collection again. Probably take a year.

This was a stunning animated sequel, and while not as 70's innocent or nostalgic as the original, it might perhaps be the better film of the two. To be fair, 1990 looks pretty lean. This was a stunning animated sequel, and while not as 70's innocent or nostalgic as the original, it might perhaps be the better film of the two. To be fair, 1990 looks pretty lean. Fantasia & Jungle Book were re-released. Felix the Cat Jetsons Ducktales: Treasure of the Lost Lamp Asterix & the Big Fight Rescuers Downunder Nutcracker Prince Kiki's Delivery Service To add to this, my favorite from that year is A Wind Named Amnesia. Two other hidden gems from that year are The Fool of the World and the Flying Ship and Like the Clouds, Like the Wind. It is a very thin year just the same.
