He reminds me of Kevin Smith.
When I like him, I like him a lot, though he does miss once in a while. "Superbad" had me rolling the whole time. "Pineapple Express" didn't really resonate.
He seems to enjoy taking chances though, so I dig that.

I like him as a person but I just can't stand his constant weed humor comedies anymore. They're just all the same stuff to me. in 2008 Pineapple Express was a good film but now? I can't watch it because I'm just so sick and tired of Rogen and Franco together. Super Bad is probably the only film of his anymore that I like and he's barely in it thankfully. I believe he did write it though with a partner so it's still his movie. 50/50 was a great movie but I don't consider that to be a Seth Rogen movie. He can be good in stuff but he's just constantly playing the same role it seems and it's annoying.
Looking back at some of his recent movies:
Sausage Party - I wanted to like it because the concept seemed funny. However the film didn't deliver.
Neighbors - A fucking horrible film that didn't deserve a sequel let alone apparently a 3rd is coming.
This Is The End - Just a god awful film. The only thing good about it was Michael Cera and Channing Tatum. The rest was garbage.
Those are the recent movies of his that I've seen. I just now ignore anything he has that's coming out if it even seems like it's going to be the same stupid weed humor he does.
