In case anyone forgot about this coming out this year, which was originally March, it's set for November 2020. ComicBook.com can confirm that a test screening for the upcoming sequel took place yesterday and that the reception was mostly positive.

I loved Skull Island, Godzilla less so, but because of the boring human subplot. Im hoping this will be good.

[sarcasm]Can't wait for the review on Bloody Disgusting!
I'm sure it's that game-changer Godzilla and Kong fans desperately have been waiting for.[/sarcasm]

Apparently it's gonna be shorter than KOTM too.

I gotta watch all three of them again. I remember liking Godzilla 2014 quite a bit. I thought it was very well done. It looked FANTASTIC and was very harrowing. Kong was fun from what I remember. I was disappointed in Godzilla 2, which shocked me because I thought the trailer was excellent, but want to see it again. I thought the effects took a step back and finding it a little boring, but the clips don't strike me as boring when I've seen them since.
