I filled up my car, picked up my prescriptions, and drove to the airport and back today. Traffic looked normal. Drive thrus were backed up around the block. Except for sit down restaurants, the airport and grocery stores, everything looked normal.

That comparison is spurious. It’s not even for the same groups we are talking about and it doesn’t account for the fact that CV19 is just getting going. Wait until as many people catch it as are infected by flu in a normal year.

Wait until as many people catch it as are infected by flu in a normal year. That is not going to change the percentages. The flu kills more people than the Coronavirus. Especially healthy young people.

Especially healthy young people. " If the same number of young people catch the Coronavirus as catch the flu every year you'll see that you're completely wrong. There's no evidence at all to back up your claim that the death rate of younger adults infected with flu is higher than that of the same group infected with CV-19.

You're not listening to me. If the same number of people become infected with CV as catch the normal flu in a year then far more people will die - and that goes for younger adults as well as older. That's why it's vital to keep the numbers infected as low as possible.

These self imposed quarantines are mainly to protect the old and/or sick.

The flu kills more people under 50 than the Coronavirus. Even though the flu has a vaccine.

Don't know what's happening here man. Got fever on Thursday night. Had it on Friday too. It's even more today (Saturday 7:53 Pm currently). But today I also have diarrhoea. I am totally isolated since last 4 days and at this point of time I will ride this out till it become unbearable (although today I am feeling extremely weak). I hope it is flu and not anything else. But still a bit in pressure. But I am not getting out and endangering anyone else. Food supplies might last another 6 days. Have a relative who lives 150 m away in case I need food after 6 days he can leave in front of my apartment and go before I pick it up.

But the flu is more deadly than the Coronavirus. So be careful and stay home.

You are so badly informed.
