AC developed some problem yesterday and ceiling fan makes a lot of noise. Got headache because of that and told my boss that I won't be working today. It's terribly uncomfortable without AC don't know if I can find a mechanic to fix it during the lockdown. Yikes. Hope you can find someone to fix it. Do they still have punkah wallahs over there? hahaha...no man those times are long gone. It's too hot and humid in Mumbai, not as hot as it gets in north India but more uncomfortable because of humidity. Will try to get AC fixed but I suspect I might have to go many days without it. The only comfort today is that I am not working from home. So will probably watch movies today.

Stay at home order extended until June 4th here. Wow. No gym since the middle of March folks - this is #2 on my list of things I miss behind Sports. I need some hobbies besides jogging and horror movies

Just popped to coop... Mad busy out there.
People all over the high street. Loads of traffic on road.
I blame Johnson.

I need some hobbies besides jogging and horror movies I can lift weights and do calisthenics at home. But I need my gym for the eliptical machine. I can't run anymore because of bad knees. I hope my gym opens up on the 15th. That's the last "Stay at Home Order" until date, here in Louisiana.

I hope my gym opens up on the 15th. That's the last "Stay at Home Order" until date, here in Louisiana. Last 5 days Norway has seen a total of 6 deaths whereas in the last 5 days Sweden has seen 498 deaths. There is no sign that Sweden's death rate is falling. At this point of time the only way Sweden can convince me of its strategy is if it manages to do better in the 2nd wave. By Jove, Norway has absolutely stomped the virus to the ground. And before lockdown Norway had more deaths & cases per capita than Sweden. Sorry but Sweden strategy is not convincing me right now. May be in future, but now. That said I am not for every country maintaining a very long lockdown period. Certainly a very strong economy like Norway can maintain forced social distancing for a long time but poorer countries can't. But I do support the first 6 weeks of lockdown that many people have problems with. Now the countries that are having severe economic crisis can ease the lockdown. People have enough awareness now and from here on they can maintain voluntary social distancing.

They're slowly starting to open things up in the northwestern part of the state where it's a lot less populated.

Will this be the first 100 page thread on the Sports board? 🤔 Yes. Actually, our General cricket discussion thread is at 131st page. Cricket thread had also completed old IMDB's maximum allowed quota of 600 posts 4 times while no other had crossed that quota even once. IMDB2.freeforums.net/thread/58/general-cricket-discussion

So fitting for a sport in which a game takes 5 days to complete!

He said some restrictions will be lifted Monday, so people all over have just said uck it then, and are getting on with it over bank holiday weekend. Places are mad busy again since he said that.

He said some restrictions will be lifted Monday, so people all over have just said fuck it then, and are getting on with it over bank holiday weekend. Places are mad busy again since he said that. Yeah, possibly not wise. He certainly overestimated the attention span and reading abilities of the Great British public. Still the vast majority of the blame for what happened in Bristol at that pub is down to the pub owners and the Bristol public, not Johnson. You'd need to tie yourself into logical knots to try to say it was the other way around. Anyway that's my opinion .. and that of most sensible people too I'll warrant.

Johnson himself said this very morning, If you are going out this weekend stay 2m away from other families... So everyone is allowed out this weekend, Johnson says so.

Well you are allowed out every day already. The only thing I heard about pubs was that they may possibly be allowed to re-open in Ausgust.
