People are struggling with groceries here now.

Supermarkets should only do deliveries to people in the self isolating categories now.

Everyone raping the shelves of stuff and stockpiling are greedy bastards. Their hooses should be tanned, and their stockpiles shared out in the local community.

No more private healthcare, comandeer their hospitals for the people.

Spare a thought for these poor prople too.

A lot of them are going to die because their urgent operations have been postponed for at least 4 more months.

I don't know how it is in England. But in the United States;

It is time that we learn from East Asian countries like South Korea, China, Taiwan and Japan. They have flattened the curve because of sheer discipline and commitment. Even in my office building till it was closed I used to see East Asians always in mask. As opposed to that, people across many other cultures have shown careless attitude towards this pandemic and also showed they don't care as much about stopping the spread as they care about their drinking and pubs. At this point of time seeing the control in East Asian countries is a big confidence booster.

We Californians are ordered to shelter in place. Starts at midnight with no end date. Just bought over $300 worth of stuff at Costco - - busiest I've ever seen it at 7:30 at night.

I've emailed the Coop and asked them to make the first hour of every day opening for vulnerable self isolating people only across all their shops.

Fingers crossed.

If I can do bits of shopping knowing I'm only mixing with other self-isolaters, I will feel a bit more independent at this time, which will be good for my, and other self-isolaters' mental health.
