Right... cup of Rosie, then out for a teatime dander with the dugs... Do you have a garden? Should be one major walk a day and two trips to the garden for shite time. Otherwise you’re just taking the piss! I've only walked the boys once today to be sure. I just had a sit down for a few hours on me sofa half way through.

Weather stinks. Just been straight rain the past three days so I am just shacked up here in my lair trying to ride things out. There is only one thing a person can do at a time like this

Stay classy America... Las Vegas has turned a car park in to an emergency homeless 'shelter'... One person per parking space. Never mind commandeering all the now empty hotels.

I've planted my flag for July 1st before life starts getting half normal again, & I believe half normal until next spring.
Now, this entire thing feels like one giant day off. Time doesn't matter, it's meaningless. That's rather absurd to believe & yet it's truth. It feels a bit like being in some giant open space without bounds or obligation, which other than avoiding ppl is also truth.
I wonder how we'll remember this ordeal. March 18th when the world 'ended' seems like 800 years ago, I can't even wrap my brain around it all & we're not even a quarter through.
I will say that 9/11 is now structurally in the past for my mind. Until this month, I could've felt 9/11's morning anytime I opted. Now it truly feels its 19 odd years ago. I guess that's a positive if there is one. Crazy. 9/11 the heroes were firemen & police, now it's medical & janitorial. What a century we're enduring.

Otherwise you’re just taking the piss! Just when I thought India might be able to control this thing a new wave of infections has emerged. A large gathering of Muslim missionaries from all over the India a couple of weeks back has been traced to be a massive source of new infections. 9 people of 32 dead in India are actually from that Muslim religious congregation. Whenever I defend Muslims on my facebook they do something so stupid and moronic that I have to finally shut my mouth. And one Muslim leader was actually quoted saying "Corona" has come from Koran and Muslims have nothing to fear from this. When that meeting had taken place the state government had already started the lockdown. Even one person from Philippine who attended the meeting has died. There were over 2000 attendees from all over the India. I am seeing 10000x already infected but undetected because of them. 200 of the 20,000 who had attended have already been tested positive. www.indiatoday.in/india/story/delhi-nizamuddin-tablighi-jamaat-event-6-dead-thousands-identified-10-points-1661614-2020-03-31

The police in the UK have overstepped their reach in policing the coronavirus.
They are losing/lost the goodwill and co-operation of the public. Newspapers, barristers, politicians, and even a member of the government's own cabinet are telling them they are overzealous and heavy handed. They are making up laws that don't exist in the legislation, misinterpreting those that do, and clogging up court time with cases that will fail.
They've blown it. This needed policing by consent. Instead they have created confrontation.
They'll get no cooperation from me when I'm out and about if they question me, and that's a fact.
And as for police forces setting up 'grass your neighbour' reporting lines and websites... Way to sow distrust and conflict within communities 🙄
Imagine getting a letter giving you a £60 fine because a neighbour has anonymously reported you for going out twice a day... Uh, I'm not paying, I'll take my day in court... Attends magistrates court, how do you plead? 'Not guilty!'... On to a full jury trial at crown court, where all evidence must be presented. You have a right to face your accuser... Your accuser who anonymously grassed you up declines to give evidence, case dismissed... Cost to the system, circa £40,000 to £50,000+... Local community up in arms about grasses in their midst. People shiteing it about the repercussions of being outed as grasses... Community cohesion ruined when it's most needed.
A retired Supreme Court Judge...
"The tradition of policing in this country is that policemen are citizens in uniform, they are not members of a disciplined hierarchy operating just at the government's command."
"The police have no power to enforce ministers' preferences but only legal regulations which don't go anything like as far as the government's guidance," he said.
"I have to say that the behaviour of Derbyshire Police in trying to shame people into using their undoubted right to travel to take exercise in the country and wrecking beauty spots in the fells so people don't want to go there is frankly disgraceful.
"This is what a police state is like. It's a state in which the government can issue orders or express preferences with no legal authority and the police will enforce ministers' wishes."

Most have been fine. Just the other day you were praising your own Avon police. I do think it’s a farce that the govt didnt give them the powers to legally enforce the new regulations about social gatherings etc.. God bless our boys in blue at this difficult time! Sure you’re not getting your excuses in early for the rioters, arsonists, vandals and looters? Or am I being unfair? Sorry if so.

They were doing well saying they wouldn't do a Derbyshire. Now they have been harassing people at roadblocks in the city, and are setting up an inform on your neighbour online service.

Nothing wrong with people reporting a large party at a neighbouring home, say. They’re endangering themselves and others not even in attendance. You’ve called out eejits like that yourself on here. Maybe the police could treat them like Aids victims who deliberately keep having unprotected sex? Such people have been prosecuted and convicted in the past using existing legislation.

There is a big difference between a gathering and people out legally self distancing in isolation. Do you realise... legally you are allowed out for reasonable reasons, which includes exercise... There is no legal limit to how many times a day. Once a day is advice, not law. The police have no power whatsoever to fine people for exercising in isolation however many times a day. The police are setting up roadblocks... There is no legal basis for this intrusion. A government minister even said drivers will not be pulled over. Police are fining people for buying what the police consider non-essential items... Again they have no legal basis to do so. It will all lead to civil unrest.

There you go... Even senior police chiefs are saying they have gone too far, and it will end badly. They need to wind their necks in... If someone is out walking on their own, it doesn't matter if it's their first or fourth walk. Leave them in peace going about their lawful business.

You’re making a mountain out of a molehill. I don’t want to see you on here refusing to condemn vermin looting shops because the police fined someone for having three packs of TP in their shopping basket.
