You've had quite a turnaround. He must be in a high risk group. His position is now "doom and gloom --- We're all gonnna die !!! The World's Coming to an End !!!" Literally nobody is doing that.

Infection rate in London is sky rocketing... The whole city could be locked down to contain it. Legislation being drafted... Get out Zos before everything inside the M25 is declared locked down plague central. They'll shoot curfew breakers and people trying to leave the disaster zone 😱 Mortuaries are overflowing. Welsh health minister admits deaths are mounting to the point where individual funerals may not be possible. I got a glider on the roof. I'm cool.

You know from previous posts in this thread that I'm not. We aren't all going to die, I've explicitly explained the reasons you should be concerned with this situation whether you're infected or not. If you're legitimately trolling this thread, that's just sad. Either way, I've said my piece. Complain to your heart's content. Just know that every gathering you attend almost certainly adds more time to the shutdown we all want desperately to cease. Nothing I have said is incorrect. Spin it anyway you want. This is not the Black Plaque. Dentists everywhere are intrigued by this Black Plaque.

My job just announced it’s cutting hours indefinitely. I’m going to be losing 8 per week.

Just back from Lidl.
No fresh milk. Didn’t even bother looking for UHT.
No potatoes .. in fact very few vegetables.
No deodorant.
No soap.
No toilet paper. Although my old Mum said they had loads in her Lidl.
No decent cheap cheese.
Not much crisps or chocolate left.
Probably should have gone earlier in the day.
Most of the wine is gone. Loads of champagne though! And other sparkling wine.
Hardly any spirits or beers.
Some bread rolls but very few loaves of bread.
No meat.

Eventually you will be able to pick up what you need. Talk with the employees and managers. Find out when the shelves are stocked. And when deliveries are scheduled. That's what I did.

I’m not talking to people in case I catch it! Stay 3 to 6 feet away. Don't kiss, hug or touch them. Turn your head if you are afraid they might spit in your mouth. Don't touch your face until you've had a chance to wash your hands.

The trouble is women can’t help kissing me when they see me! I have the same problem. How old are you? At 61 I've perfected the "thanks but no thanks" for wanting women. Now I just have another excuse, "I'd love to but . . . Coronavirus". Most guys think guys like us have it made. We do. But there's a downside to everything.

Often telling them no, makes them want you more.

Back in the first two weeks of February, I became very sick with flu like symptoms (and now known Coronavirus symptoms). I went to urgent care and a physician. Both tested me for the flu and it came back negative. I was never diagnosed with anything. I was just told it appeared to be a virus. I now wonder if I had the coronavirus.

There's a situation in MN right now. Severe test shortage. Nobody...NOBODY can get tested unless...
1. You're hospitalized 2. You're in a long term care facility 3. You're a doctor or nurse
That's it. They're telling people to stay home even if they have symptoms and a fever of 104. Which means everyone with it will just go to work because they can't get tested.

I've got that going on now. It sucks. It was really just a matter of time, and I'm just glad that I'm not in a high risk group. I'll be fine, but this quarantine I've gotta go through is fucking bad too. I'm mostly through the worst of the symptoms now, but I was advised not to bother with getting tested. It seems likely that I've got the corona, but I was told that I'll probably never know. It won't matter because even if I knew I had it I'd just be told to stay away from people for 2 weeks sinxe there's no treatment, and the limited tests are being reserved for older and less healthy people who may need to be hospitalized if they contract the virus. For me, I just have to feel miserable for a few days and be bored for a couple of weeks.

Just rest and entertain yourself by watching movies.
