On my own side, like a rational person.
Some of Lucas' stuff is good and others are shit, same with the Disney ones. The fans sometimes make good points, and other times they're just being asses.
I would raise an eyebrow at anyone who came down firmly on any one point.

other - episode 4 was fun but I'm at least indifferent to every other film, and some are seriously bad.

It was George Lucas who created Star Wars and directed and kept it , until he wore out
and could no longer helm his fantasy . All the Disney Star War productions seem to lack
credibility and authenticity (I haven't seen the 3rd movie of their new trilogy , so I
don't know how it ends) .

I myself loved the 3rd Movie of the New Trilogy although I do understand all of the negativity that it gets.

I was a pretty big fan of Star Wars of 4, 5, and 6 in the '80s and early '90s but I became just a casual viewer after the first prequel. It was bad enough that I lost most of my interest in the series (although I still watched the new ones). I don't think the sequels did the series any favors though.
