Looks yummy. I wouldn't add the cilantro. But otherwise I am in!

Looks yummy. I wouldn't add the cilantro. But otherwise I am in! Same. My idea of hell is having something I love smothered in something I hate. When I was a kid I loved hot chocolate, would not eat whipped cream, and when I ordered it, they never asked if I wanted whipped cream and I was stupid enough not to realize I could request it without or I would be afraid to ask. Invariably I would get hot chocolate with whipped cream and just look at it and pout.

I'm not sure of the difference between "Yeps," and "I'm ready for tacos." I voted "Yeps." However, I'm already working on sauce for spareribs, so tacos will have to wait.
I recently saw a video on making them with lentils, rather than meat. I'm not "veg," but I love lentils and would like to try it.
Thumbs down on cilantro for me, too.

Cilantro seems to be a love-it-or-hate-it thing with a lot of people. I like a little of it in salsa and guacamole as well as some Indian curries. But I would not put it on a taco.

There used to be a fun website, "Ihatecilantro.com." I looked for it, earlier today, and they seem to have moved to Facebook. I'm not allowed on Facebook, because I lied to them about my birthday. Those people are so cold. Anyway, if you're on FB, and can find it, check it out.

Cilantro is supposedly the most popular herb in the world. We love it and use it a lot.

I have THE best recipe for lentil 'hamburger' patties. I make it all the time and freeze so I can put them in wraps with avocado, tabouli, sweet chilli sauce and sour cream.....YUMMO! Here goes: Cook 1 cup lentils in stock or water for about 20 mins, drain. Process three slices bread in a food processor. Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a pan and fry 1 large brown onion finely chopped until clear not brown, add 2 cloves minced or crushed garlic near the end with 2 teaspoons ground cumin and 2 teaspoons ground turmeric. Stir till coated and cook 1 min. Cool. Add lentils onion mixture and half cup chopped parsley ( and or coriander) to food processor and lightly process until well combined but keeping the lentils unmashed. Transfer to a bowl and combine with breadcrumbs a beaten egg and 2 tablespoon of plain flour, a little salt and pepper. Stir by hand until combined. Shape your patties and fry in a little olive oil til golden each side. I spray the top side with olive oil as well to avoid sticking when turning. .

Why do you think I DON'T like tacos (I LOVE THEM, ACTUALLY) just BECAUSE Ecuador IS where MOST South American HEADHUNTERS are from (OR used to be from)?!
