Now, I'm no NBA expert but haven't the Knicks fans BEEN patient? This is the NBA, where 28 of the 30 teams make the playoffs. And the Knicks haven't made the playoffs since Reagan was in office (I exaggerated). And you have to be patient to read that note

Rose apparently has a lot of pull.
He's said to have been key to bringing LeBron and Bosh to Miami to play with Wade.
He used to represent LeBron.
I'm one of the very few that think the Knicks can still be an attractive destination for free agents.
It's New York after all - I think things may go a little smoother if Dolan sold the team - but that's another story.

I just looked. The Knicks have drafted just two players who have made an NBA All-Star team since 1988. David Lee and Kristaps Portigis (not spelled right, I know). The blind squirrel doesn't always find the nut, apparently.

Instead of saying that the Knicks are the Cleveland Browns of basketball, they’re gonna have to start saying that the Browns are the Knicks of football.
