I still use Windows 7, so Explorer by default and Firefox or Flock on occasion.
I can't stand chrome - it really screws up my computer.

Edge, though I don't know why as it sucks. Mind you, the other ones suck too.

The "Internet Archive" has archived copies of a lot of webpages from the 1990s. They should have the option of being able to view them in a recreation of a 1990s web browser.

Pale Moon x64 ; which is closest to Firefox, so i choose Firefox.
Chrome/Edge are RAM hungry which is their biggest flaw compared to Firefox (and variations) which use quite a bit less RAM when you have many tabs open and leave your browser running for days/weeks at a time like i do.
even RAM aside, i think Firefox (in my case Pale Moon x64) is the overall smoothest running browser with extensions. but for those who don't have many tabs open and open and close your browser regularly and pretty much use your browser in a stock state then Chrome/Edge ain't bad.
people with low RAM systems (i.e. 4GB or less) would likely benefit from using Firefox over Chrome etc. i got 8GB of RAM on my system which i would say anyone with 8GB+ of RAM should be good for the foreseeable future in terms of general system performance as i had that nearly 5 years now and it won't be insufficient for many more years simply because programs would really have to get RAM hungry for that to become any real negative in terms of general system performance with basic programs people use on a regular basis.
p.s. i am not surprised to see Chrome winning the poll as that's the dominate browser in market share right now (i.e. at least 42% of the browser market as of March 2017) which means it's the most widely used.

Back in the 1990s, I used Netscape Navigator as my primary browser. The one offered in AOL's software was faulty and untrustworthy.
I did use Internet Explorer a few times back then. I remember Microsoft Windows 98 basically shoved it down our throats.
I stopped using it when I visited a website riddled with spyware and malware. Even Chrome has a few problems, especially with having to connect your Google account. I don't go for that.
To this day, I use Firefox by default, even though they dropped support for Java.

Even Chrome has a few problems, especially with having to connect your Google account. I don't go for that. Yeah, I always found Chrome to be too cute by half. And this was my least favorite feature. I know it's actually supposed to improve one's browsing experience, etc., but I just found it Orwellian, obnoxious, and off-putting.

Chrome and Edge. Chrome is my main browser but...
my main gmail is banned from youTube for copyright infringement. And i'm too lazy to constantly log out of it
So I use chrome mainly for youtube. Plus I have ad block on chrome, so Places like this and YouTube where vloggers i watch that rely on ads for income or to keep the site free, i want to support that

I also use Chrome, but I have the others Firefox, Safari and Opera. I never even heard of Edge.
