Pale Moon x64 ; which is closest to Firefox, so i choose Firefox. Chrome/Edge are RAM hungry which is their biggest flaw compared to Firefox (and variations) which use quite a bit less RAM when you have many tabs open and leave your browser running for days/weeks at a time like i do. even RAM aside, i think Firefox (in my case Pale Moon x64) is the overall smoothest running browser with extensions. but for those who don't have many tabs open and open and close your browser regularly and pretty much use your browser in a stock state then Chrome/Edge ain't bad. people with low RAM systems (i.e. 4GB or less) would likely benefit from using Firefox over Chrome etc. i got 8GB of RAM on my system which i would say anyone with 8GB+ of RAM should be good for the foreseeable future in terms of general system performance as i had that nearly 5 years now and it won't be insufficient for many more years simply because programs would really have to get RAM hungry for that to become any real negative in terms of general system performance with basic programs people use on a regular basis. p.s. i am not surprised to see Chrome winning the poll as that's the dominate browser in market share right now (i.e. at least 42% of the browser market as of March 2017) which means it's the most widely used. I've NEVER heard of Pale Moon x64?!

RiP, IMDb I've never heard of these either. Maybe they are part of some underground conspiracy by Nabisco? Or the work of over-sexed elves?

RiP, IMDbIt's the most popular Firefox alternative to my knowledge. Pale Moon's website is here... www.palemoon.org/It's kinda it's own browser but it's basically like Firefox from a while ago with it's interface etc. but for the more casual PC user... i would not be surprised if you never heard of it as you pretty much got Microsoft's (i.e. Internet Explorer/Edge) and then Chrome/Firefox for the most popular browsers on the PC and after that you start to get into the more obscure browsers which won't have too much market share. but i would imagine for the more obscure browsers that Pale Moon is one of the more known ones. but with all of that said... it's safer for me to recommend either Chrome or Firefox to the common person since they are popular (i would lean towards Firefox as it's lighter on system resources, especially RAM usage). Firefox used to be a major player in the browser market years ago but Chrome has become the clear dominate browser for a while now. it says this about Pale Moon on it's own website's main page...

Chrome very occasionally if I really have to. Hate it...too invasive, and troublesome. Mostly I use Firefox.
