I doubt he could have lived with going to Argentina even if he could, it would be too much an admission of failure and defeat.
In fact British Intelligence did a psychological profile on Hitler during the war that predicted that as the tide of war turned he would become increasingly unhinged - and believe it or not, they even predicted that he would ultimately be unable to accept failure and would kill himself in the last days of the war.

Agreed. He was too far gone to even attempt to elude capture. With his personality type suicide was a likely inevitability.
