my second choice was going to be " take a nap " but sounded too depressing
and since there was no option answer for - watching TV either    .

I agree " taking a nap " can be very relaxing too
but " play with your pet " seems more uplifting .
Even though I currently don't have a pet of my own
my downstairs neighbor ( and current landlord ) has a really sweet and friendly dog
that happily greets me every time I see him .
