The fact that they have this many is reason enough, but here's hoping the following are on that list...
Stephen A. Smith Michael Smith Jamele Hill Chris Berman Dick Vitale

Supply and demand. Supply garbage while demanding high fees, and consumers eventually advise you to take a hike via their wallets.

Yeah, ESPN had it made for a number of years: they were the only kid in town. I knew the day that other full-time sports networks would come into play that ESPN would fall. No doubt, ESPN has done much to bring about that fall themselves, but the advent of all the other sports networks was the kill shot.

Smith, Smith & Hill are black So? So, it means they're pretty much untouchable....especially in the liberal world ESPN lives in. If Stephen A Smith can keep his job after all the times his big mouth got him out of line it pretty much tells the story of black reporters at ESPN.

Tell that to Harold Reynolds, Rob Parker and Jason Whitlock.

Danny Kanell is out. They seem to be going after the mild personality types while keeping the abrasive and obnoxious.

Danny Kanell is out. They seem to be going after the mild personality types while keeping the abrasive and obnoxious. Of course. The crazier a headline is, the more people will click on the story. ESPN certainly didn't invent this strategy. This is why I never listen to sports talk radio and I don't watch those round table argument shows. It's just windbags spewing out 'hot takes' that they don't even believe themselves, they just go on inane rants because that's what gets ratings. The local shows are even worse here in New England, because the fan base is so rabid the show hosts constantly rip the teams because that's what gets a response from the viewers. It's tiresome and it takes the fun out of what's supposed to be a distraction.

Jayson Stark.
I guess hockey is going to be barely covered at all now? They already relegated it on the website to where you have to click "MORE" to find it.

ESPN sucks the sweat off of a dead man's balls. They get rid of people with actual talent and knowledge like Jayson Stark and Ed Werder, yet they keep walking trash bags of elephant jizz like Stephen A. Smith and James Hill and Dan Lebatard? Does anyone actually watch ESPN for anything other than live sports (i.e. actual football, baseball games)? With the exception of the 30 for 30s, virtually their entire catalog of non-live-sport programming is utter feces. No wonder why their ratings suck.
