Triva about Kevin Feige. he was a part of xmen 1, apparently when Singer was saying the movie should be about story and did not need to fulfil the stereotypes of comic books, Feige was crying that wolverine needed to have purple hair and they need to have costumes. Insisiting story did not matter. Fast forward 20 years later, look where Feige has brought comic books film. Meanwhile X-Men 1 has stood the test of time as a vintage classic comic film. Please provide your source and a direct quote of Feige saying Logan should have purple hair. Kevin Feige... the man that tries to get the characters as close as he can to the comics with what they have wanted Logan to have purple hair... A color that has nothing to do with Wolverine. At all.

Please provide a source where Feige wanted to change Wolverine's hair color to purple. Or were you just making that stuff up?

Please provide a source where Feige wanted to change Wolverine's hair color to purple. Or were you just making that stuff up? Tried to Google it and had to force it to include "purple". Everything I find says that, because of Feige, Wolverine got his signature comics hairstyle.

Trying to move the goalpost, I see. Just stating the facts. Feige is a weirdo. when he first spoke of xmen in the mcu, he was excited about how he could use magneto powers for cool cgi. Feige hates story telling and drama. Is it any wonder MCU became the poster child for cgi trash movies?

Infinity War and Endgame wouldn't have worked if the movies before it had no storytelling and drama. If there was no storytelling and drama in these movies then people wouldn't feel anything on this scene.
I guarantee that everyone, except maybe 5 people, felt this scene. These movies are all about the characters.

is this scene about characters? How many in the lines of constant jokes? how come it looks like a cartoon? it was you who did not know what facts means. please remember it was fact the year TDK and DOFP came out. just because you could not handle their superiority to the feige childish nonsenses was no excuse for you to act insane and lie about their years.

When your InfoWars-level of BS got thrown into questions by 2 posters, you changed the topic to Black Panther. How is that not moving the goalpost? how did i move goal post? i qouted feige in his own words. Because when everyone called you out on the made up lies which you claim as truth, rather than provide the source of said "truth" and then when called out that Feige is the guy who is constantly pushing for things to be more comic accurate so giving Wolverine a hair colour utterly unconnected to him you then responded with...nah Feige made a poor mans FC, something BTW is not even remotely connected to the bullshit point you were previously trying to make, it would be like me saying I am a classically trained chef, you say bullshit you can't even make jam on toast and I respond with nah I once killed a man with a butter knife, trained chef to killing a guy with a butter knife outside of the use of cutlery they are in no way connected, just like the bollocks you spout.
So come on princess were is the proof Feige wanted Wolverine to have purple hair? cite it or shut it you slag.

Sigh...I see we are all replying to the trolls here again instead of just ignoring them. I guess if we keep pushing summers8's buttons, he'll eventually get himself banned yet again. Although why his ban hasn't been made permanent is beyond me.

Summers8 can be over the top but he is saying a lot of sense and some true things. Which doesn't seem to be the thing for you mcu fans.

I never read the GOTG comics. heard GOTG in the marvel comics was more serious. How did MCU think making it a cartoon comedy was a good idea or a thing that would last. the movie is strictly for kids. the very definition of theme parks as Scorsese said. Its insulting to the genre to put it in the same sentence as TDK and DOFP.

Before the movies the GOTG was never really defined in the comics, the characters in the group were never very consistent, the concept also changed dramatically - at first, they were a band of heroes from the 31st century of an alternate timeline who kept going back and forth with contemporary Earth, for instance. The characters of who are in the movies also changed dramatically over the years, Groot actually started out as a giant monster who spoke fine English, for another instance. Why does every comic book movie NEED to be like The Dark Knight or Logan or Days of Future Past if you don't mind me asking?

Why does every comic book movie NEED to be like The Dark Knight or Logan or Days of Future Past if you don't mind me asking? In the comics GOTG was defined as space adventure, the comics are not comedy, its not even like archie comics , which i will say can be defined as comedy. Comics GOTG was a cross between star wars and star trek. it was not a light hearted comedy as the movies made it out to be. GOTG would have been more believable as Babylon 5. the entire comedy thing was disney trying to make it more fun for kids. If GOTG had not been owned by disney, i doubt the movie would have turned out the way it did. Movies like the dark knight, logan and days of future past are the benchmark for making comic movies that can make people respect the genre. these movies proves you can tell mature stories, with that comes respect for the genre. Badly, GOTG fulfils the opposite. I think this also explain why what i said is true. marvel comics are still respected but their movies are not.

How can you be an expert on Guardians of the Galaxy and know what is best for the material when you've said it yourself in this very thread that you have never read a Guardians of the Galaxy comic book in your life? Like a cross between Star Trek and Star Wars? Babylon 5? Hell no. And since when is being space adventure preclude the use of comedy? If Disney had not owned the movie rights to Guardians of the Galaxy there *wouldn't* be a movie at all, genius. Where is the proof that movies like Guardians of the Galaxy, and the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe at that, are not respected and are laughing stocks by the general public? Last I checked most are critically acclaimed and are part of the billion dollar club at the box office, if they were so bad they wouldn't have as strong of legs as they do. What are you talking about? Marvel comics these days are mostly a joke, you ask most long time readers they can only cite just three to four titles that are still worth following while everything else, which is plenty, is borderline meh to straight up awful. For Pete's sake, they have cancelled and relaunched so many titles a drinking game would be dangerous to try. Most of the respect goes for older titles from the 60's, 70's, and 80's, and most of the 90's.
