Every time I looked at a dishwasher I thought the Spotmaker lived in it.
Do you remember a commercial with singing bubbles? They were guys dressed in huge round costumes -I assume they were bubbles-and they were singing or something.
And that Chuck McCann commercial where he lived in someone's mirror.

Another was a commercial for a book "If Life is a Bowl of Cherries, What Am I Doing in the Pits?"

These classic commercials do seem very familiar to me here too .
" guys dressed in huge round costumes -I assume they were bubbles-and they were singing or something. "
To my knowledge it was possibly one of these commercials - if not these it's still a riot too .
" Chuck McCann commercial where he lived in someone's mirror. "
I found 2 from your excellent description here .
Also more " Fruit Guys commercials "
this first was my favorite when it came out too .

Those Fruit Guys Commercials looked really expensive to make also .
It's too bad these are not shown on TV again it would so worth it
even if these are now classic commercials .

The commercial with the bubble guys-I remember it was a white stage--with them standing on platforms like a singing group..I recall their costumes were white or light blue. It was 70s for sure. They had really big round costumes--mono-coloured..so like a bubble or something white.

If you look closely do you recognize the lead Bubble singer too ?
who played one of the T-Birds Sonny LaTierri

Unfortunately I never bought or used Mr. Bubble although I thought those commercials were really catchy indeed .
Of course back in the day I was a young " Calgon Gal " myself
( the box bath powder was OK but
I really liked more when the liquid foam bath bottles came out ) .
These classic commercials were also very catchy .

Another funny one is the Seiko commercial "It's more reliable than my husband! He's not around anymore but my Seiko is."
I read up on the fall out for the actress after that. Her husband wasn't too happy with all the comments he got.
