I might be vaguely interested if they bring back Sam Neil or Jeff Goldblum back.
Sam Neill, Laura Dern, and Jeff Goldblum have all already been confirmed to be returning for this New Movie.
All 3 of them are back.

A problem with bringing back the original cast, having posters with the original JP style/logo, etc. is possibly making the new film feel derivative of the original film.

Yeah, but now they can make parody/meta humor out of the first one: Ian: These scientists were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didn't stop to think if they should! Grant: Ian, I don't wanna hear this fucking boring ass speech again!
