What is your favourite musical instrument?

guitar > drums/percussion > bass (electric/acoustic) > keyboards


For brass:

trumpet > french horn > tuba > baritone > trombone


For woodwind:

flute > bagpipes > saxophone > Shehnai > bassoon > clarinet

I can play the piano a little bit, but I love to hear anything that makes a song country: fiddle, steel guitar, banjo, mandolin, and the dobro.

I would say the ukulele.

For traditional instruments, I think the harpsichord would be my favorite. It is the predecessor to the piano:

Regarding electronics, my favorite is the ARP Odyssey synthesizer. I own the black/orange colored version by Korg (They are now making them again since 2015, after being discontinued in 1981):



I also like the Moog Minimoog synthesizer (Also being reproduced now), although I do not own one yet:



The Prophet 5 (Now being "remade," so to speak, as the Prophet 6) is also very nice:



For the first two choices, I am very much into Johann Sebastian Bach era Baroque/Classical music. The three electronic choices also reflect my interest in the German band Kraftwerk, which is my favorite, and I got to see them live in 2014.
