It is official. The Arrowverse has been suspended due to the Coronavirus and I am not sure what this means for the future of these shows this year and how many episodes they have got filmed that are yet to air but they have revealed the final episodes are not filmed so we might not be seeing them until the end of the year or possibly even next year. Supernatural has also been suspended midway through its final season and some sites are saying it might end now until 2021 so we will have to wait and see. Hopefully they use this time to kill Zari's Brother off and make Zari normal again. They could say he got the Coronavirus and died and give Charlie more airtime in 'Legends of Tomorrow.' I'm a little surprised they had much of their season left to shoot. Don't they usually wrap up around this time of year?

Welcome back Deb you are a sight for sore eyes, not surprised by the shutdown, wonder if this means they will be putting their mid-season shows on a little more, maybe cut the season length down from 13 weeks to 6 and airing them in pairs whilst allowing the rest of the shows the time to be shutdown ...that is if the mid season shows aren't still filming themselves, I never know if they start filming them the same time as the others or later on.
Would be hilarious if they decide fuck it Supernatual is getting "another" season and they just throw in some additional episodes onto the number remaining and bring it back for a season 16...that is if they can doesn't Jared have a Walker Texas Ranger reboot in the works? Did not realise Supergirl had a shorter season this year, makes sense with the pregnancy, atleast it means they wont need to go with Stargazer's hoarder idea lmao.
Anywho glad to see you back Deb missed seeing you around here hope your back more regularly as it's fun talking with yah.

I think I read somewhere that the series finale of Supernatural may in fact be delayed until next year. Not sure if they'll consider it an additional season or delayed continuation of their current season. As for the mid season replacements, I think it varies from production to production; and their schedules aren't necessarily treated any differently just because they're mid-season replacements. I had seen earlier today, for example, that Legends had actually wrapped their season already; although I'm not 100% sure if that's accurate based on some of the other comments I've seen on some of the actor pages. But the thing with mid-season replacements is that there are times when a new show placed early in the season does so poorly that the network wants to pull it sooner rather than later; and they end up filling in by using a show they were holding in reserve to start airing until much later. It's sort of more like reserve programming in that way; and they can air the series at their discretion. Look at AoS, they wrapped their finale season last summer and we're still months off from seeing it. Although it literally just occurred to me that this could now change, if ABC ends up short of content because of any shutdowns; they may decide to begin running the final season sooner than they originally planned.

I was thinking about shows that are mid season but returning shows like Legends, Roswell NM and The 100 stuff like that which has an audience enough for renewal but shorter seasons which could be used to fill those gaps the likes of no Flash, Batwoman and Supernatural leave them with.
Only thing maybe is if they finished filming but are still backed up in post-production I guess, so the later episodes maybe still 2 months out from being ready at this rate even though the actors and that are all wrapped.

@deblovesbeccy .. Welcome back as well, Deb. Funny enough, I think you and I were away from this website around the same time. Although I was completely away since August of last year, I just had something else take up the time completely. It's good to see you're still around on this movie/TV site, though.
I've been out of anything DC TV since the series "Gotham" ended. I wanted to get into "Batwoman" but didn't. I don't know if I will either, TV has been a bit dull for me as of late. The best shows I've found only do one season and then they're done, or turn into an anthology series, lol. Say hi anytime, my friend. M. Hi Pumpkin King
Thanks for the welcome back and welcome back too. I haven't seen you on this board and thought you must have been one of the members that left 'cause we have sadly had a few good members on here go but it is good to see you are still around. I am still here too but I have been pretty busy and just haven't had as much time to write on the forum as I used to between emails and private messages but I am going to try and write on here more if you all still want to talk to me, of course. I was writing on the comment section of another site recently and got bullied on there for my sexuality again and that turned me off writing a bit and I wasn't even writing about my sexuality and was writing about Batgirl and other superheroes and they just targeted me over my user name and avatar but it is nice to come here and talk to friendly people like you guys and thanks for the welcome back too @red and I hope you have been well too. I hope you get a chance to get into more of the DC shows sometime The Pumpkin King and I can't remember (sorry) but did you say you have watched any of the other 'Arrowverse' shows like 'Arrow', 'The Flash', 'Supergirl' or 'DC's Legends of Tomorrow' or another one like 'Smallville?' I loved 'Smallville' and we have watched that multiple times along with 'Lois and Clark' and 'Gotham' was a good show and I really enjoyed that.
I am still disappointed with some of the things they done with the characters and wish they had handled Poison Ivy, Mr Freeze, The Scarecrow and Solomon Grundy differently and had made Harvey Dent Two Face. Looking back at it now I think Two Face would have been perfect for it and could have been the third main villain and interacted with the Penguin and Riddler a lot and I don't think I will ever understand why they didn't use him 'cause he is one of the most popular Batman villains. I am surprised they didn't use Killer Croc in some shape or form too that would have been cheap for the budget like had a more human earlier form appear before he become more crocodile that was the Mob Boss, Waylon Jones who has a skin condition and craves human flesh and I was disappointed Lady Shiva and Man Bat got cut from the final season but I think they did a good job with what they had and I was happy we got to see Barbara Gordon at the end and I actually liked their version of Joker more than the one in the movie. I didn't mind the movie but was disappointed they changed the character so much and made him more of an angry villain who killed 'cause he had a crappy life instead of killed 'cause he enjoyed killing people and took pleasure in it like he does in the comic books. I mean to the Joker killing is a form of art and he loves blowing things up and playing pranks on people like the occasional fake bombs that say 'Boom' or the guns that say 'Bang.' Some might disagree but I think 'Gotham' with Jeremiah established a closer character to the comic books and they had him as an actual Scientist like he was in the comic origins and explained how he could create bombs and showed his love for blowing things up which was absent in the movie too and I feel they could have made him far more dangerous and psychotic. I think 'Gotham' did the best with the Riddler and I liked their Riddler the most out of the villains and he was always entertaining to watch in the seasons and I liked how they handled the Penguin too but wish they kept his love for ships and collecting things and made him more of a pirate. What villain did you like the most on 'Gotham?'

What villain did you like the most on 'Gotham?' I'm sorry to hear that you were bullied on any other website, Deb. No one deserves to be bullied in any form. It's very easy for people to not like me on all sites as well, I don't get many fans even on this website, at least I never thought so. I just read what I enjoy and respond on what topics I appreciate. Maybe my overuse of gifs, or long extensive comments aren't liked by most here. But I just figure, if I'm going to write a comment to any one post, I'm going to make it be the best post I can write. I'm not on a mission to write thousands of posts, just very friendly, filled, personal posts. As for gifs, I don't see people use them that often, maybe because they take time to find. Time I have these days, especially now with what's going on in the world. I'm listening to an audible book as we speak, writing away; not to mention I write a bunch more online away from this website - for myself. So, as long as I'm here on this website, I'm going to make my posts as lively and as bright as I can make them. (: Thank you for comparing me to other great, departed members on this website. My advice, be yourself. Someone will always see you for the open, happy and incandescent personality you possess, my friend. It's just my opinion. (: Sadly, I have never been able to watch much of the TV DC Universe. Once you miss the first episodes of a show, which they often don't replay on regular TV here, at least not in the hours I'm free; and then all of a sudden one whole season goes by. And I'm like, "Ugh!" Lol, so I just have to skip over it. I watched all of "Gotham" beginning to end. I watched plenty of "The Flash", but it's been a while and I don't think I watched the last one or two seasons, unfortunately. Other than that, I haven't watched anything else. I really wanted to watch "Supergirl", but just couldn't fit my schedule into it. "Smallville" would've been nice to watch, but that was so long ago now, ha. So if you want to talk "Gotham", I'm your man. Then again I watched almost every episode once, maybe twice. Still, I know it all quite well. What's funny, no one else I know does, so I rarely get to talk about the series to anyone. It's all in my head, lol. About "Gotham", as always, I agree with everything you say. All of those characters you listed were mishandled a lot, in the sense that they just kind of disappeared. Any one time Scarecrow and Mr. Freeze had their individual episodes and origins, they were amazing. Their origin episodes were a couple of my favorite episodes in all of the series. Sadly, they kind of just became 'hired hands' for people like Penguin and Riddler. I didn't mind the finale of how they handled Poison Ivy, except, it seemed like the threat she created with Selina Kyle ended without any major conclusion. That's one thing that bothered me with many of the closing build-ups, is that they appeared to become a major threat, but then ended in all subtlety. I honestly liked the show best in the order of each released season. Season 1 was my favorite as well as season 2, for different reasons. I liked the big and small plots and introductions of season 1. And then I liked the free range crime sprees of season 2, as well as the introduction of Joker and recreation of Barb. Barb was and is my favorite character of the show, as I never expected she would had become the survivor, crazy, crime boss and ally she became in all of Gotham. I also agree with you about the popular unused or skipped over comic book villains in the show. Solomon Grundy was an interesting idea, and I didn't mind how he was introduced, but again the build-up of his character ended faster than it began. Lol, and yeah, the Killer Croc story-rush was sad. Yet, we have a few episodes focusing on someone called Professor Pyg. Whom I don't think is from the comics but I can be wrong, don't quote me. Killer Croc till this day, deserves so much more from the DC Universe in movies and TV. Even characters like Victor Zsasz had great moments on the show, but he didn't have the full story arc I would have liked to have seen. Or look at the Mad Hatter, who was introduced creepy altogether his first episode. Who kind of just became a side villain also just used by Penguin and Riddler Lady Shiva and Man-Bat would have been wonderful to see. I would have liked to have seen Man-Bat, even if it didn't follow the characters real origins. My favorite character in all of Batman is Clayface. I know we have a small version of him, that Basil guy. Lol, which as you know is nothing compared to the comic book Clayface. Like Two-Face, we had glimpses into these very favorite villains, but we never got more of what they were more than capable of doing. Sad-sad. To talk about about a couple favorites things, ha. I was happy to see the Ventriloquist and Scarface get a perfect short-lived moment. I'm also happy we got to see a great use of Hugo Strange. We even got a lot of scream time with Bruce, Alfred and Selina. I did appreciate too the female cast of this show in almost all of it's characters. There were many side female allies and bad girls, they were all extra little bonuses of the show, in my opinion. And like you said, the Joker, was really great in this show. Jerome and Jeremiah Valeska had a great crime spree beginning to end over all of the seasons. I didn't know if the actor Cameron Monaghan could deliver on the part, but he ended up delivering above and beyond in my book. He was great and the twists involving both Jokers kept you interested until the end. Without Jeremiah in the final season, it would've really been a long season and not in a good way. The random Bane incarnation, that felt so random, almost forced, etc. Ra's Al Ghul, ugh, don't get me started, lol. And yes, the Joker is both a psychopath and sociopath. He doesn't kill because he was hurt in his life, he kills because it's his way of creating art, freedom, and madness. I do miss characters like the Penguin and Riddler, who I thought they handled beginning to end nicely. If anything, I like the Penguin's full story more than the Riddler. The Riddler's episode where he kills his girlfriend by accident was my favorite moment in his story. Penguin seeing his mother get killed was my favorite moment in his story, as well as the meeting of his father. I like their killer styles and breaks, but their humanized moments really bring out the inner, broken human heart of their souls. I didn't care for the random love story between them both, lol, that was just plain weird. WEIRD, ha. But I do think those two characters held the entire show more than anybody else (as well as the Joker). And of course, Jim Gordon, it was his show. Bruce Wayne, meh, Selina Kyle, meh, they had good moments, too. But this was always Gordon versus villain show to me, I only wish we could have gotten more. It seemed we were always so close to, but, it was an enjoyable ride at least. I'd like seeing all of the main actors in future new projects, just for nostalgic purposes. Especially my Barb (actress Erin Richards). As for a favorite-favorite for the show, it would be Barbara Gordon. She was just everything I wanted in a female villain, ha. Everything-everything. Joker would be second, Penguin would be third in my favorites list. (: You're welcome to private message me, Deb. Or else we're going to blow up this website with filled message posts back and forth. And I promise to do my best to send you a steady amount of reply messages. And I will still comment on your posts when I can. I think it's still easy to private message people here? I don't know, I don't private message anyone, lol. Have a bright, warm day, my Australian friend. Enjoy the bottom gifs. They're for your welcome back to IMDB2. M.

Awww. Thank you and it is nice to see you too and I have missed talking to you and have always enjoyed our chats on here. As I was saying to stargazer above many sites are saying the shows could end up having shortened down seasons and they will edit what they have and make them end continued and follow them on in the next season and I am curious what that would mean for 'Supernatural' 'cause I think it could actually get another season and it would be pretty funny since they have been calling Season 15 the final season and what would be even funnier is if they made another season and Jared and Jensen decided they wanted to keep going. I think with what they have now they actually have the perfect set up for another season if they end it early and they could have Sam, Dean, Castiel and Jack face off with God only to have the Empty turn up and kill God and then they have the earth falling apart and they have to find a way to stop it and defeat the Empty too. That explains the way she was looking at Zari last season. Told ya there was something was going on between those two with the way Charlie was looking at Zari when they were together but didn’t know it was going on behind the scenes. You don't think they are gettin' it on on set? I have no time for that frivolity.

'Legends of Tomorrow' I think has probably been the worst but I like watching Charlie and I wasn't a big fan of Maisie Richardson-Sellers as Amaya and always find her character to be kinda boring but as Charlie I have to say (heehee) She is very funny and rather sexy too and I am not somebody who follows shipping much but I would rather see Charlie with Zari than with Zari's Brother and I think Zari and Charlie would be a more entertaining couple than Sara and Ava and Maisie is a Lesbian. I think they should just rearrange the schedules as or where possible tbh, air the summer stuff early, make mararthons of previous seasons for a week in hyping up the summer return hopefully of a bunch of this stuff, or just make next year a longer season and film/tack on the end of the seasons to the start of next season rather than try and stretch material.
As for Supernatural, I gunno Deb the Empty seems like a waste if they do that now as a big bad, if they killed off Chuck for mid season then maybe, but with him still around seems to much of a stretch, my half arsed guess right now is the Empty is going to actually be Amara who is their secret weapon, as otherwise Amara's guest spot is really pointless this season, I could see the old guess of Sam & Dean becoming the new rules, used to be that one would rule Heaven the other Hell but now I figure they will become the Creation & Destruction, or whatever Chuck & Amara are, with Cas becoming an Archangel and overseeing Heaven whilst Jack takes his father's throne as the rule of Hell but now Demons and such aren't evil and shit.
If Supernatural gets another season though it will be hilarious to see the jokes, Coronavirus kills x amount of people and saves Supernatural for one more year.
For the Arrowverse shows, meh, not been too fond of them this year, Crisis is such a letdown and a waste, the amount of worthless episodes made dealing with the before and after it's just so blegh, for that I dunno I guess LOT is the best so far, but season is still early so who knows, I don't mind Zari's brother personally, I also totally disagree they made Zari what she is to prop him up, I think the point is he's a poor replacement for her and she's not living up to her potential without the kick in the arse, but the new Zari I find quite funny just wish she had more of a role in the show, but I am enjoying the Constantine stuff because well Matt Ryan is awesome as him, god I wish they would kill Nate off though, every season his stuff becomes more and more idiotic and annoying, atleast the stupid stuff they give Mick is funny because Dominic is great as Heatwave and being a gruff prick, Nate though is just such a mediocre bland piece of wet bread, also surprised how Batwoman despite the eye rolling roll out and at time dumb plot isn't as bad as I feared it would be, it's still not much if any better than the rest of the shows but I guess I was expecting worse so it surpassed my expectations, so yay.
