Ok - found one I've never seen - this goes back to the Top 10 Found Footage Horror Movies clip I found on Youtube - 'The Taking of Deborah Logan' - anybody of see/hear of it? Watched Grave Encounters and The Last Broadcast yesterday - I'm pretty much a sucker for hand held cam/found footage movies.
Have you watched the zombie show Black Summer? I really liked it. Should be on Netflix. Hopefully another season is coming.
If you don't mind subtitles there's a pretty good French Canadian zombie film from a couple years back called Les Affames. It might be listed under it's English title of Ravenous.
Thanks for the recs - I'll give em a look

My wife wanted to watch this limited series on Netflix called Unorthodox about a hassidic woman from Brooklyn who escapes her completely insular community of Jews in search of a better life abroad. It was pretty good, although while it was based on a true story, I find some of the facts concerning the ultimate resolution a bit questionable. The way it depicts life within the community, however, is completely accurate.
Being Jewish, I find this shit fascinating. I'm Jewish insofar as I was raised Jewish, my parents and I would celebrate Passover, Hannukah and the high holidays in September but that's really it. I had a bar mitzvah, I can read Hebrew but have no idea what it means, and had a non-demoninational wedding to my equally non-religious "Catholic" wife. For me personally, it means basically nothing as I'm completely atheist and not remotely religious (although visiting Dachua in Munich was one of the most moving experiences of my life, but largely just because I'm a human being).
I know a lot of hassids as I work with them often, but for a lot of people, watching something like this show could be their first exposure to that type of religious practice and lifestyle. I'd be curious to see people's reactions to it.

I'm dreading with Better Call Saul and Fargo...but so far I ditched it and played some rounds of Civilization V, build a XingBao set (Chinese Lego so to speak), I was even cleaning the dishes...on one hand it seems to be a good show (watched a lot of Gus and Hector clips on youtube) and the other hand I was never a fan of Saul Goodman's character in Breaking Bad.

Carlo Ancelotti the Everton manager is stuck at home on Merseyside. Here is what he is watching on TV: www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-8210667/Carlo-Ancelotti-reveals-obsession-Netflix-Everton-boss-opens-lockdown.html'I'm watching television series in the evening. One on Netflix, Money Heist, that is fantastic. It is now on season four,' Ancelotti told Everton's official website. 'I enjoyed watching Ray Donovan, a series on Apple TV. There is another good series, When They See Us [also on Netflix]. It is a story of five guys who were arrested in New York and is really interesting. 'And there is a new programme on Netflix, Unorthodox, it is a short series but nice.' The 60-year-old former AC Milan, Real Madrid, Chelsea, PSG and Bayern Munich boss is also looking after himself physically during the enforced break. 'If I walk, I go to Crosby, to the beach and sometimes I go biking to Formby,' he added. 'It is a beautiful area, the beach is really fantastic. It is a long beach, you can keep your distance when you walk. I enjoy this a lot. The weather is good and, honestly, it is beautiful here. 'I like to exercise. When I am working I have no time to do this, so I have problems with my knees. I try to use this time to improve the condition of my knees.

What is the harm? He put the police officer's life in danger...the physical stress could have resulted in a heart attack. Untrained and physical unfit people should not be put in such a situation. Like Churchill once said: sport is murder. (Although it is more a modern myth that he said it - I will check it out) Hm...seem to be a special German thing again: de.wikipedia.org/wiki/No_SportsAbout (autotranslate only - I'm too lazy now...and since Westworld I know our time is running up anyway): In fact, there is no serious evidence that Churchill's "No Sports" quote was made. According to Christoph Drösser , the saying “is apparently only known in German-speaking countries, at least you won't find it on any English website, but on hundreds of German websites - of course without proof. In the renowned Oxford Dictionary of Quotations you will also find the quote in vain. " [3]

Last movie I watched was Magnolia. For whatever reason right now, I've been drawn to movies that I've seen once and only once rather than new movies to me or ones that I've seen lots of times. Just watched Inside Lleywn Davis and Jackie Brown recently for the second times too. With Jackie Brown and Magnolia, I originally watched both of them in the theater, so it was 20 to 25 years since I had last seen them. I forgot a lot - - particularly how long the frog scene goes in Magnolia. Found out afterwards that Philip Baker Hall is still alive!
I'm two episodes into How to Fix a Drug Scandal. It's dry in some places, but the magnitude of the implications of what was done are pretty mind blowing. I don't remember that story in the news at all.

Time for another hand held camera horror movie I learned about on Youtube and just searched and it's free on Prime Video Afflicted (2014) - anybody ever see/hear about it? 83% Rotten Tomato Score - and it's only 85 minutes long - perfect for my attention span. Turns out one of these guys turns into a vampire - I'll keep you posted on whether it's worth a watch or not

The Untouchables.
Kevin Costner giving another cardboard cutout performance, hopelessly failing to scare the crap out of Capone. Apart from Di Nero's monstrous cameo and Connery's oscar-winning Irish cop, this movie was saved from the garbage collector by an unforgettable finale at the train station

Love gangster movies.
Gave a shot one day and wasn't into it.
Gave a shot years later to see what all the hullabaloo was about and maybe I didn't give it my full attention.
Find it incredibly overrated - it's been a couple of years now - couldn't really get invested in any of the characters and thought it was ridiculous Costner and his little crew were able to take down Capone - can't remember if I had a displeasure for the soundtrack as well - I think I did.
I think a soundtrack can make or break a film - like Taxi Driver - just ruined the movie for me - the over the top 70s 'jazz' bit - brutal.

Masters rewind has been a fun week. Yesterday's Rory meltdown. His 10th hole has to be top 5 worst golfing moments ever. Drive off the trees into the cabins. Pitch out into another tree down the hill? Utter madness. Glorious.

Watching Stepfather III again - it's actually an Easter movie (there's an Easter scene) - murderous pyscho with family values marries into families - the families end up disappointing him and he kills them - moving on to the next family - hoping they don't disappoint him too. This was pretty much the premise with 1 & II as well folks - hey - if you have a formula that works - you stick with it

Just finished watching, Ride with the Devil (1999). It's a Civil War movie from the perspective of a group of southern fighters. Staring Toby McGuire, Skeet Ulrich, and Jewel. It was good! 4 out of 5 stars.

Nightcrawler is excellent, Jake Gyllenhaal is brilliant in it. Agree with tristam, Prisoners is good, but Nightcrawler is a cut above.
