The Untouchables. Kevin Costner giving another cardboard cutout performance, hopelessly failing to scare the crap out of Capone. Apart from Di Nero's monstrous cameo and Connery's oscar-winning Irish cop, this movie was saved from the garbage collector by an unforgettable finale at the train station Owned that movie for years - got if for like $4.99
Love gangster movies.
Gave a shot one day and wasn't into it.
Gave a shot years later to see what all the hullabaloo was about and maybe I didn't give it my full attention.
Find it incredibly overrated - it's been a couple of years now - couldn't really get invested in any of the characters and thought it was ridiculous Costner and his little crew were able to take down Capone - can't remember if I had a displeasure for the soundtrack as well - I think I did.
I think a soundtrack can make or break a film - like Taxi Driver - just ruined the movie for me - the over the top 70s 'jazz' bit - brutal.

Masters rewind has been a fun week. Yesterday's Rory meltdown. His 10th hole has to be top 5 worst golfing moments ever. Drive off the trees into the cabins. Pitch out into another tree down the hill? Utter madness. Glorious.

I have three movies that I can watch. Nightcrawler (2014), The Beastmaster (1982) and Prisoners (2013). If anyone has seen 1 more more of them then please help out with suggestion on which to watch.

Watching Stepfather III again - it's actually an Easter movie (there's an Easter scene) - murderous pyscho with family values marries into families - the families end up disappointing him and he kills them - moving on to the next family - hoping they don't disappoint him too. This was pretty much the premise with 1 & II as well folks - hey - if you have a formula that works - you stick with it

Just finished watching, Ride with the Devil (1999). It's a Civil War movie from the perspective of a group of southern fighters. Staring Toby McGuire, Skeet Ulrich, and Jewel. It was good! 4 out of 5 stars.

Nightcrawler is excellent, Jake Gyllenhaal is brilliant in it. Agree with tristam, Prisoners is good, but Nightcrawler is a cut above.

Decent revenge thriller with a cute girl (full frontal!) and satisfying revenge - but kind of a weak ending. #worthit

batteries not included (1987)/Cocoon (1985)
I remember being surprised at how much I enjoyed these when they first hit the screens, at about the same time. Lots and lots of corn, of course, with a terrific ensemble headed by Hume Cronyn and Jessica Tandy. a real-life him & her. They were also part of the cast of Cocoon along with Don Ameche, Brian Denehey and others in what was a pool party for the "waiting for God" crowd, accidentally finding the elixir of youth and loving every minute of it, as I did, watching them. They made a sequel a few years later but the novelty appeal had gone and the snap was missing. Pity.

WTF
The Season Finale of The Walking Dead was pushed back - I guess post production couldn't get done in time because of the coronavirus (from what I read on Forbes) - how is this possible - figured it should have been wrapped in a bow tie for us awhile ago.
Do shows/movies really make post production edits/changes that close to it being released?

Killing Eve s3e1 is up on BBC iPlayer.
I may give it a watch, but s2 was disappointing overall. Sandra Oh’s gurning was mainly to blame.

Yes, I have seen it and thoroughly enjoyed it, including her performance. Shes normally very good, but I’ve been disappointed with her in KE.
