This tip was posted but I cannot make it work "You can make the large photos smaller in a post by clicking on one of the corners and dragging the mouse towards the center of the photo until you get it to your desired size". Must be something easy that I am missing.

Must be something easy that I am missing. Catman just goes into the BBCode and adds width parameter to the img tag. [img src="http://catmanofiowa.com/images/Miko07.png" alt=" " width="10%"] as opposed to Of course, percentage measures will make the size relative to the viewer's screen. If you really want absolute size, you can put in 'px' for '%'.

width="10px"
Note that px stands for pixel, so a 10px width would be exceptionally tiny on most computers.

I only go with the large ones when they are the only ones with the picture I want and sometimes they are HUGE and it takes forever to load. them. Someone mentioned this re-size via arrows but I cannot get it to work. Tecky-R-NOT-Uz

Keep in mind that resizing a huge image file will only change the display, not the original file, so it will still take forever to load.

If I'm reading this thread correctly, the ability to resize images by dragging its borders in the preview pane was a Firefox feature that has since been removed. If I remember correctly, it wouldn't retain the image's aspect ratio so it was more or less useless unless you had a steady hand and a good eye. And no, I will not install that script.

Choosing a smaller picture in the first place works easier anyway ! Someone had mentioned the resizing, someone else said that it didn't work all that well and the results were wonky and I could not get it to work at all.

Sometimes Catman's degree in computer science comes in handy. Great! Now I know who to bother when I need help with something to do with my being online or my laptop. Be prepared to be continuously barraged with stupid questions! That was meant to be a joke but I've remembered something I've wanted to ask someone about for ages so.....I have a youtube channel, (the link is at the bottom of my posts) and I don't know how to pm anyone or receive pms. I can't find my inbox on my channel, and yes I've looked everywhere. Is there even an inbox for pms on youtube?
